  1. Don't go to https://www.classcharts.com/ at the moment 🤣
  2. Morning all, well it seems to be working again. No reply to my emails from yesterday and without any status page we will just have to guess that its fixed and won't be going away any time soon. Cheers everyone
  3. Has anyone else run into ClassCharts login issues today? We’ve had reports since around midday that Office 365 SSO has stopped working. From what we can tell, this isn’t an outage but seems to be a change on Tes/ClassCharts’ side, possibly linked to their “Universal Account” rollout. A couple of things we’ve noticed: Office 365 login no longer works The SSO button is still visible on the login page, which is confusing users Password reset links appear to expire almost immediately after being received Standard email/password login does still work (if users already know their password), so we’ve switched our internal links over as a workaround. We’ve contacted ClassCharts but haven’t had a useful response yet. Is anyone else seeing the same behaviour, or had any clearer comms from them about this change? Cheers
  4. Yes they never intended to fix it I don't think. Hey it won't be a problem after next week until 2029 and then 2032 so by then 3CX/Yealink might push out an update lol
  5. Getting to be an absolute joke at this stage. No wonder their monthly availability figures are so high if they never borther to update their status pages in a timely manner or at all in some cases! https://help.parentpaygroup.com/csm?id=kb_article_view&sysparm_article=KB0013425
  6. Thank you for the response. This still only partly answers the question. We do need clarity on what is being done to improve the reliability of SIMS Connected. Since moving this year, we and many other schools have experienced repeated periods of downtime, as outlined above. I will be raising this with our Customer Delivery Consultant, however it would be helpful to have a public update from ESS so that all affected schools receive the same information and reassurance. As SIMS is the statutory attendance system, reliability is essential. When registers cannot be taken in real time, it creates a genuine safeguarding concern, as we are unable to account for student safety consistently during the school day. We would appreciate confirmation of the actions being taken to prevent further disruption.
  7. Thanks Sally, You've missed a few posts from me as above. Can you please respond?
  8. Its slow to login but it has loaded eventually this morning. @SIMS_Customer_Support These outages have affected multiple schools, and it would be helpful for everyone to understand what’s being done to improve reliability and communication around service disruptions.
  9. We had no choice really. We were with Scomis hosted Sims and there was some sort of falling out between Scomis and ESS. The only choice we had presented was to move to Sims Connected.
  10. I’ll raise this with our Customer Delivery Consultant directly, but I’d appreciate it if you could also provide a public response on behalf of all users who have experienced the recent issues. These outages have affected multiple schools, and it would be helpful for everyone to understand what’s being done to improve reliability and communication around service disruptions.
  11. Thanks, Sally @SIMS_Customer_Support Is there any reason why the system status page is so rarely updated? We’ve noticed that unless an issue lasts for at least an hour, it often isn’t mentioned at all. For example, the outage that lasted several hours yesterday isn’t reflected on today’s status page, which currently shows a green tick for the entire day. Since moving to SIMS Connected earlier this year, we’ve experienced frequent periods of unavailability. Many teachers have stopped reporting these incidents altogether, as it’s become such a regular occurrence. I understand that ESS has taken on more customers recently due to Scomis etc, but are there any plans in place to improve reliability? As SIMS is our primary system for statutory attendance, these repeated outages are already a safeguarding concern — staff are unable to complete registers promptly, which directly affects our ability to monitor pupil attendance and welfare in real time. I look forward to your reply.
  12. Yes, same again, no updates again, and they wonder why their market share has plummeted 🤦‍♀️

  14. O yes ours does that as well, it's imho just a badly scripted website. No single sign on for students is just a joke in 2025. Kids can barely remember a username let alone a 12 digit alphanumeric code 😂
  15. We've had this issue for over 12 months now. They are aware of the issue and promised a new version to fix but nothing so far. I believe its because as an admin you load all of the classes after you login and it must be coded badly so the iPad just hangs. It does load eventually but can be minutes. The bigger the school the worse the issue.
