Thanks Fairm010, thats cool they made a lite web version. Witch - I was wondering about asking them this - in this anywhere in writing? As I'm worried about dishing out the schools product key to all the staff!

Hi Guys, Does anyone know if there is a free version of Smart Notebook for home use? The staff in our school wish to install the software on their personal PC's to work from home but I can only find versions that give you a free 30 day trial then require license details. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. (p.s. did a search of this but couldn't find the information I was after - sorry if this has been asked/answered before) Cheers, Gob

Hi All, We are looking into purchasing a new class set of headphones for our ICT Suite, I've been looking into a particular model and was wondering if anybody has experience with them. USB Headset They seem to fit the bill, and reasonably priced. All parts are replaceable which seems smart and will be easy to source things like replacement ear cushions but in practice I'm not sure how well they will work. Any thoughts/experiences with these? Cheers P.s. Need USB Headphones as majority of the Audio jacks on our machines are damaged and machines won't be replaced for another year or 2!

Hi guys, Ahh - unfortunately I've had no luck there, tried upgrading software, re imaging pc, and even a different machine altogether. I have tried the highest one, which i think is a 20 point calibration off the top of my head I have tried removing the board from the wall and then calibrating whilst it is free standing etc but still same results when I start to draw on it so most likely not related to wire interference or twisting from wall brackets. I may try the membrane suggestion, saw the mentioned somewhere else too. Thanks for the suggestions guys

Hi guys, Got a Smartboard SB660 with a very peculiar problem and wondered if anyone had come accross something similar. Basically the whole board is pretty much always mis-aligned and orienting the board doesn't seem to help. The left side will be off about an inch one direction, the right another, corners and other points will be off too. I have included pictures of by attempts to trace a grid to help clarify - please see attached. Unfortunately board is out of warranty. I've tried upgrading software/firmware, resetting controller, loosening screws, taking board of wall, visibly inspected for dents etc, re imaged machine/tried a different machine but the outcome is always the same. Anyone experienced anything similar to this before? Kind Regards, Andrew

Hi All, Thanks for all the feedback, extremely useful. I think the school is likely to go with the Avermedia F30's as we've recieved some good quotes and they seem to popular in schools, not many complaints either! The DC120 projectors seem like a great option but the Head here has her heart on something a bit fanicer looking. I suspect that once they have them, if they are not used as much as people suggest they will go for the DC120's for future purchases. Thanks all

Hi All, In the process of gathering visualiser quotes for a primary school I work at, we're looking to purchase about 8 for the school. I'm looking at 2 visualisers in particular and wondered if anyone had any feedback on them 1. AVerMedia AVerVision F30 - Interactive Portable AVerVision F30 Visualiser / Document Camera This one seems to be quite popular in primary schools and I have seen it mentioned on this forum before 2. Elmo MO-1 Elmo MO-1 Visualiser / Document Camera I love the way this one looks, its very compact and wouldn't take up much desk space, but im wondering if its suitable for schools, anyone here used one of these before? Any other recommendations would be greatly appreciated, Ive also seen the Avermedia F-50 and CP135 mentioned on here, any feedback would great. G

Just to follow up - purchased the bulb that I linked above and it worked.

I'm not sure if this is any help but one of the schools I work at is looking at buying about 30 of these for the ictsuite as pretty much all the audio jack ports have been destroyed and this is a less time consuming and cheaper way to fix them. USB External Audio 5.1/7.1 Channel 6 SPDIF Optical Sound Card PC Notebook Laptop | eBay We have tested one over the past month and works well, that seller also offers a 1 year warranty (if they honour it or not is another question)

I can't guarantee it but I'm pretty confident I've located the bulb on eBay PHILIPS PROJECTION LAMP BULB - Type 7748XHP 24V 250W | eBay I have one of the broken bulbs with me right now and it says in small white text accross the bulb "24V, 250W, 7748XH" and on the other side it says "PH" which could be philips?
