We, alongside the rest of the country, really appreciate those of you who are still in school, helping staff and students with remote working and of course looking after the children of key workers – so we wanted to say thank you! In honour of the annual diabetes-fest that is the Great British Easter, we sent the VeryPC bunny out to collect up a mountain of chocolate eggs, and it pains me to say that we will not be snarfing them all up but *grits teeth* actually giving them away to one lucky entrant! A single blessed winner will be sent this entire pile of type-2 choco-grenades, at which point we abdicate all responsibility for what happens next (but gently suggest it involves at least a little bit of sharing with the staff and students who are still around!). All you have to do is leave a comment below stating your best guess at the total number of individual chocolate eggs in the pile pictured above. Seems easy, but to confound the quantity surveyors out there, Nicole “scrambled” our conglomeration of confection, randomly discarding some packaging and scattering the loose eggs about the place, both in and out of view, before taking the photo. I will give you a clue to help narrow down your estimates though – the answer is an integer on the real number line (I know I’m too soft). Entries close at midday on Tuesday 7th April, and we’ll announce the winner that very afternoon. Don’t worry, before you start panicking, we’ll get the bunny to hop them over to you before Easter Sunday, so keep an eye out for a giant rabbit your postie. Apologies to our international friends, but we’ll only be shipping the prize domestically, so unless you have a UK address to receive goods, you won’t be able to win. Now, if you do feel like dropping an egg-cellent pun along with your estimate, please do indulge that urge (sorry @witch). I mean, “egg” is the word puns were invented for, right? You won’t get any more entries, but it will earn you some zero exchange rate props-bucks for your effort.
