Any idea when the CPOMS app is going to retire?

Thanks for sharing. I have a few Hornby O Gauge trains and accessories. My grandfather built 2 steam powered 5 inch (I think) trains big enough to take passengers around the garden when the track was out. I will dig out the pictures.

It’s not muted I take it? if you go into “sound control” “recording” mic properties and check it’s not muted there?

Set a bios password Create a local .\ account with full admin rights. When they return them, wipe them and add school image. It’s a lot quicker and less hassle.

Best wishes for a full recovery.

Microsoft Wireless Adapters - Anyone use them?

We have the Epsom EB-685 series site wide. They have a panel you remove to install these and screw back on so it can’t be taken. -

We purchased these and yes, this is one issue we are having. Still trying to find a solution. -
I don’t use it now, but I don’t recall being able to backdate balances for transactions already processed. The only way to get round this is (AFAIK) is to print off reports per student and calculate what balance they should be at based on any top ups and purchases. If you don’t zero balances, when they top up £10...it will only go against their debt.

Great idea but IKEA stuff is flat packed, it’s not designed to be taken apart

As above, unless they are filling your bin, don’t get into a neighbour dispute. Amongst other reasons if you do own your house, when you come to sell you have to inform your purchaser.

I’m in the dark as to what is expected of us and how we go about our jobs. I suppose only time will tell. -

Is it the LCD panel or the graphics card? What happens if you plug in a separate monitor?

In O365 you can give the Admin rights to their mailbox so don’t need to ask for their password. -
@Snuffkins probably hasn’t got notifications turned on for this post.

My old job involved supporting a NRS system with Parentpay as the payment system. For me, if I didn’t have to go to the canteen to sort an issue or have a call from the catering manager about a till or top up issue, that was a win. I had months of wins, the system ran smoothly using the biometric system. The issue is more the end user, the students, they didn’t register their thumbs correctly or would have glue on them. I used to stand at the till during break time occasionally and watch hundred flow through without an issue. Support was great.
