Mozzy12 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 My session from 07:30 this morning just dropped, cant get back in
themightymrp Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Been with O365 for nearly 2 years and this is the first major failure - theres been the odd hiccup but nothing that hasn't been resolved fairly quickly. And generally only issues with our tenant, not everyone 1
FragglePete Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Yikes. We are literally on the verge of switching from GAFE to 365 and I can't log in to give our setup a final checkover :S So, for long term 365 users, is this an exceptional event? Been using O365 for about 18 months in total now and this is the first time we've had any issues with it. Outlook client still works so it has not been much of an upset of us as most staff using Outlook and not OWA. Has caused an issue this morning with our Science Department as we do use the Sharepoint Sites as a sort of VLE area and they complained about not being able to access their resources, but these things happened. Have some faith, it's Microsoft; they'll get it fixed and we as schools are getting it for free! Pete 1

We've been using O365 since 2012 and this is the first proper outage we've had. It's been pretty stable/reliable. 1

Mozzy12 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Been with O365 just over 2 years, only ever had very minor problems that effect our tenant. This is the first time we have ever had a loss of service like this. 1
dcwhitworth Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Their failover failed good game! Steve Yep, personally I'd review my DR plans before a major change but hey ho !
dezt Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 We've been using Office365 for 3 years now and this is the first time it's had an issue. They do claim to have around 99.9% uptime so I think they're entitled to 1 issue. 1
themightymrp Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Just had a successful logon! Still a bit flaky as it works on one machine but not another. And I can't access the Admin portal, but an Inbox i have
gshaw Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/status/#current they broke AD Quote of the day from another site... "Microsoft are having ID problems... Inactive Directory"

This is the first time we've had an outage of noteable length since we started using it in April 2014. Normally, its very reliable and I'd have no problems recommending it to others. 1

We are literally on the verge of switching from GAFE to 365 and I can't log in to give our setup a final checkover :S So, for long term 365 users, is this an exceptional event? This is the biggest one we've had in about 2 years of running O365 for all staff and students. The closest was a seriously borked SharePoint update that broke that particular side of the platform the day before we launched our new site (!) 1
dezt Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Just checked, working fine for me. Logged in fine for me just now, just needed to restart the IE browser.
dry Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Dipping in and out here- can sometimes get to login page but other times I can't. Will continue to use US-based VPN for time being.
Mozzy12 Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I'm also back in, testing with staff users now.
dezt Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 forget that, I can log in but not all the web apps are working at the moment, I'll take another look after lunch, or tomorrow.
Michael Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Still issues with login.microsoftonline.com fully loading, however outlook.office365.com works. 1
Oaktech Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 Still issues with login.microsoftonline.com fully loading, however outlook.office365.com works. That's what I'm seeing at the moment too. portal.office.com also now working. 1
Michael Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 All seems OK now, however the blue square in the portal was at the top left is now at the top right.
witch Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 All seems OK now, however the blue square in the portal was at the top left is now at the top right. That changed ages ago for some people and not others!
