I'm currently trying to use a VPN to make my iPad appear as thought it's in the US so i can log in and check this but all the blocks i've putting on my firewall are blocking it... :rollseyes:

 

Even if your VPN work, it will still fail (logically) as all O365 data/accounts in Europe is hosted in Northern Ireland under the Data Protection Act. The US O365 server would in theory forward the request to the Europe server, which is still down of course!

Like I said above, I did some slightly shady stuff and I can get on. Performance is seriously bad, but I'm not sure if it's the service or the shady.

We have noticed though that emails are working for those using the Outlook client (which for us is us ICT Techies and the admin/office staff...all other staff and students use the portal).

According to Twitter, this is an issue with Azure Active Directory that is affecting multiple services including the portal.office.com, portal.azure.com and manage.windowsazure.com sites.

Its sucking in the US, I'm trying to login and its bust here and our global setup is based in one of the America DCs even going via the US office for stuff I still cannot get into it yet so its not great anywhere it seems...

The Azure part is Global issue apparently, just mainly seems to hit EU most. However that logic works...

I wonder if it's anything to do with replication? I guess like our in-house Active Directory setups, an instant change or bad configuration would replicate across the whole global Azure Active Directory? I guess there would be a slight time delay, however it could cause serious problems if this is the case.

 

It's like deleting the Enterprise Admin Group, or similar that would (in theory), create problems like this.

Currently using this with our Students but because it's locally installed there is no issue. I like having a plan B

Not now... there was about a 10 minute windows where I could get the login page every time I f5'd but that has stopped now. I can access things by pretending I'm in California, but it's verrrrry slow.

It's all gone pear-shaped. We use "sites" on Office 365 for our cover teachers - and now they can't get on it
