We've been getting odd errors from DirSync in the last day or two that some people reckon are Azure AD related:

Apparently there's an issue with login.Microsoft.com for most of Europe (I have an email from RM stating as such)

 

The fact it's affecting so many users, and so many O365 domains, I wonder if it's a routing problem or a DDOS attack of some sort?

@X-13, he's already eaten all the Jelly Babies, and I made him take the scarf off this morning when we got into the office... was tempted to send him out with some really long length of fibre so that our connection goes via the US so the users can get into webmail again...

One Microsoft Gold partner told us, "the irony is you can't even log a support ticket."But he quipped that the length of time of the outage - service seems to have been interrupted for a couple of hours - was "ntohing".

"[in past outages we] haven’t been able to access the partner portal resources, downloads and keys for over a month, since our renewal. They say they are working on it. Meanwhile all our computers sport an activation message in Windows 10 and Office 2016 looks great in front of customers."

Engineering teams are actively investigating the root cause of the issue and are developing a mitigation strategy. A list of services reporting impact will be provided shortly. I'm currently trying to use a VPN to make my iPad appear as thought it's in the US so i can log in and check this but all the blocks i've putting on my firewall are blocking it... :rollseyes:

Strangely yes we have issues, and our network connection is maxing out at the same time.....

 

We seemed to have the same problem with Internet access being thrashed - restarting the Smoothwall proxy sorted it though.

Sophos seems to be doing that for us pretty well by itself at the moment
