  3. as others have said , look at the quinetic recievers and switches they will do exactly what you need it to do wit hthe advantage that you can link somthing like 30 switches to one reciever and they just work ive two in my house one running as a two wat switch and the other a single switch controlling two different devices . not the cheapest of brands but in this case you definatly get what you pay for

Morning All any ideas on how to fix an error on our smoothwall , when we run the Functionality test we get and error in the Gardian section "Not expected 200 OK response: 500 Can't connect to www.smoothwall.com:443" same result in the Squid section too blocking/filtering is working fine id just like to not have any red x's on the teast page if thats possible Cheers

  14. dont fill that gap with plaster or anything else really , it's there to stop any damp travelling up your plasterwork and allow the wall to breath , use wooden spacers behind whereyou will fix it back to the wall

I know where all my wood came from the last 3 loads were from the last big storm we had sh wont be usable untill next winter but it was free apart from some petrol for the chainsaw and my time , most wood is from managed plantations , I agree with not touching proper woodlands we need to preserve these
  17. They revised the report on wood burners turns out they had it very wrong and a good stove/wood burner properly fitted creates very little polution , way less than a car

  19. HI did you have to create reports to pull all the staff/student info from arbor to send to PP we just moved/went live with Arbor and now pp are asking for a couple of csv's to data check befor they will allow us to upload anything to them

Not really sure where to put this one so i thaught here might be a good place to start We have lots of students now requiring laptops for there exams which means we need to supply power for said laptops Having lots of extension cables slung across the floor and plugged together dosnt sit well with me so im looking for solutions to the issue , i do think that this will come down to lots of gaffa tape and some extra sockets round the room but thaught id ask here first Any advice Cheers
  21. place traps at 90degrees against walls and runways and any other paths traveled they might take a few days but will eventually work , peanut butter and marsbars work well as bait
  22. just be aware if its rats you need to kill them , humane traps are great but its against the law to re-release certain types rats into the wild
  23. honestly just get Salamander it will do so much more than just create you accounts in Ad we have it doing that and provisioning all our office 365 /teams groups adding timetables etc its very very good
  24. dc will kill you way faster thats why we dont use it in the home. , i have solar to some batteries wit ha small invertor but if we had a propper outage we have a log burner for heat and a well used honda genny in the garage along with a few cans of petrol that would see is through the worst of it , for lights charging stuff , freezer, or if needed the electric cooker (not all at once but easy enough to swap between them
