good job on the vent and glad to hear you have hot water again we are just about to remove our system boiler as with 3 girls in the house there is never enough hot water when we need it so its coming out and a combie going in as it will be cheaper in the longrun , i know what you mean re never ending jobs list my next job is replacing floor joists followed by rewiring the ring main, kitchen and bathroom refit , but then the house is 100 years old , as has already been said Get some pipe lagging on those pipes youll loose lots of heat without it the split foam stuff is cheap enough and dead easy to put on just fasten it with cable ties

Im really giving this some serious thought , we moved to a single lunchtime (from a split lunch) so im strugeling to fit stuff in and eat as well* so looking at huel as a food sub for lunch not everyday just on the days i need to eat and run * my choice i could just take a full lunch and not do any jobs but choose not to and get the time back later in the day as it suites me better * how are people that have tried it finding it any recomendations? thanks Andy

company to set up smoothwall for us?
woodham replied to woodham's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
the problem is im fed up of ringing support for help and not recieving it, we have had smoothwall for around 6 years maybe longer and up untill the last year or so it has been fantastic , then they moved there support model and somthing else changed but i dont know what and since then when ever i ring for support it takes days to get a reply and then its usually Oh we cant do that or they ask you to do somthing and when you ask how to do it (i understand gp and server side stuff) they are unable to offer advice or instructions our setup is as a transparent proxy using the software based product installed on a duel quad core rig with 32G ram and multiple gig nics -
