  2. good luck with that claim (seriously dont waste your time it wont happen) glad your ok. now the big question when you dropped it was your first thought am i ok or was it the true biker thought "bugger thats going to be expensive!" ? I last had that thought whilst watching my cbr slide down the road ahead of me in a shower of sparkes (wiped out on some wet cobble stones as they crossed a corner)
  3. https://www.theguardian.com/sustainable-business/2017/aug/10/electric-cars-big-battery-waste-problem-lithium-recycling creating the batteries is an issue too (i like solar it makes more sence than wind power and should be compulsery on all new builds)
  4. Electric cars have never been enviromental its just moving the polution elsewhere
  5. In 2013 there were 8,455 petrol stations. the key thing here is that 1 petrol station can servce a few hundred cars every hour where as 1 charging point = 1 car for usually several hours . and our national grid would collapse if we moved the major wagon fleets to electric it just about copes now when we all put the kettle on
  6. I like the norad one better https://www.noradsanta.org/

  13. Has anyone got any notes on adding govenors into sims please i was at an event a little while back but cant find the notes i wrote about adding the govenors into sims i believe it was to do with zero hour contracts Thanks Andy
  14. low speed or indeed any speed bumps are not acceptible. I know i can squeese my car into silly tight spaces if i really want to without hitting other peoples cars but not everybody is as confident at driving (sorry that sound really agressive and its not meant to be ) people just need to be aware that not all cars have this tech yet and need to park with some care
  15. its fine the self park car squeezing into the very tight spot but what about the other cars its just parked between if they are not self parked your not going to be happy when they bump your nice new car trying to get out. And i would think it would by your fault as they where there first and parked with ample room to be safe (would need to check this)

  18. fortunatlly it was just the lighting circits that were still in rubber cable and it was all replaced by nice new 1.5 T + E what a fun few days that was house is a 1920's built semi All old cable was removed during the rewire so i dont have to think about that one, it sounds like some of you have bigger issues than i do with your electrics next up is a nice new consumer unit and upgraded earths and bonding as its looking a little dated
