CHiLL Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 Inside Bill's Brain A documentary about Bill Gates, mainly focusing on the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation and Microsoft formed. I've found it facsinating and I don't think he gets as much credit as he deserves in the public eye for his work in third world coutries.

Billy might be getting older and slowing down, but his wit, love of a good banjo and easy going manner make great telly. Here Billy takes a trip down the eastern side of the USA, exploring historical Scottish influences along the way. Really good stuff. Definitely worth a go.

I completely forgot to mention that I'd watched that, how daft of me! I really enjoyed this programme, I could watch him all day. I've only really come to appreciate him in recent years, but his trip shows are just a lovely watch. 1

Given Gates was involved, how much does it whitewash his evil days?

I don't actually know that much about the early years of Microsoft or the evil days, but I haven't come across much about that in the programme. It seems to generally besympathetic towards him. I'd be interested to watch a documentary about the other side of Gates.

It felt a little "safe" to me. Once Upon a Time There's a blast from the past! It had its ups and downs, but I do have a soft spot for the show. Still think Prince Charming was better when he was in a coma, though.

More seriously, back in S1 when the show was about trying to work out which Storybrooke inhabitant was which fairy tale character. I have to admit to "dust in my eyes" when he awoke but lost all sympathy during the "two dime store Valentine cards" incident. 1

Really can't wait to see what they do in series 2.
