I think the first 3 seasons are probably the weakest for me so you have good watching if you stick with it ;)

 

Cant believe Dark Matter has been cancelled......

 

Please buy it Netflix!

Started watching The Tick - only two episodes in, but so far it seems more focussed on Arthur than the original animated series was. Still - seems good so far.

W1A started during the week which was brilliant as ever, David Tennant's excellent narration as you wish that the meetings, back stabbing, use of buzz words etc weren't so close to home ;)

Finished S1 of The Good Place, not great, but it does make more sense now

 

I really enjoyed this. Apparently if you have time to rewatch it, it works really well. I didn't have time, so just started S2.

Always been an fan of Peep Show, but only seen the odd episode when it's on TV.

 

Just finished the first series on Netflix, to sum it up in one word.... CRINGE-FEST!

Watched the musical episode of "Once Upon A Time". Songs were a bit too "theatre musical" for me, but most of the cast did better than I was expecting. Best bit was probably the crescendo leading up to the lack of a song (and the reason), though.

I must admit, that musical episode of "Once Upon a Time" is where they lost me too. Although I did actually watch that series all the way to the end I can honestly say that even if they did ever make any more I would not watch it.

 

I did start a new series called The Orville. A Star wars nerd fantasy for one Seth Macfarlane as he plays a captain of a space craft called.. yup you guessed it, the Orville where he is joined with his ex-wife as his second in command. And they go on adventures where they explore the universe and save innocents.

This is a weird one as it is a bit confusing in what it is trying to achieve. It is meant to be 400 years in the future but the humans react much as if they would today, complete with colloquialism's and references.

There are parts that seem to be over the top for comedy affect... but I am not entirely sure if they are meant that way.

It is only on episode 3 so I will give it a little more time to see how it plays out. There have been a few chuckles so I will stick with it for now.

 

Loving Rick and Morty. Didn't think it was possible, but it seems to be getting a bit darker. Which I am fine with.

 

New series of South Park is up to their usual form. No standout episodes as of yet, but still funny.

 

Vice Principles new series is also pretty good too.

 

Oh and the one I am so happy that it is back... Gotham!!

OUAT starts up again soon, with various members of the cast having left for pastures new/been written out.

 

The Orville is odd. It's been sold as a spoof but, apart from the language and the scene on the holodeck, could've been a particularly worthy ep of TNG.
