Watching Z Nation off the back of the people commenting how much they liked it on here.

I do kind of like it. But there are some issues that niggle at the back of my mind when I watch it.

Namely, that the electricity would not stay on past a few weeks in the event of a zombie apocalypse, yet there seems to be power in most places. Which in the real world would mean no internet, and therefore no connected servers/cameras etc.. for Citizen Z to watch/manipulate.

Talking about Citizen Z.... he is pretty dumb. I think his character needs to be killed off (or perhaps he does, I am only on episode 2 of season 2) as he lacks any common sense.

Also, they are much too quick to shoot... and their aim is terrible (apart from perhaps 10k). They blast off a few dozen rounds at body shots and then either run out of ammo to build drama, or finally get a headshot.

Plus... if zombies are attracted by sound then they should be using blades and pointy things waaaay more than they do.

And finally... dust. There hardly seems to be dust in any of the buildings.

I will give them some kudo's though. They kill off main characters a lot more than even the Walking dead. Oh, and the zombie baby did make me laugh.

So I guess for now I will keep watching it as I do like me a bit of zombie action. Still

Nuh-uh. Never. Not in a million years.

Zombie viruses spread via contaminated body fluids. You do not want to be putting yourself in a situation where you're getting zombie blood on you, potentially inside an open wound, or your eye.

Haven't seen the show so can't comment on the rest of it, but always keep your distance in a zombie apocalypse. Boom-booms, whilst making a lot of noise, still keep you safer than stabby-stabs that put you at risk of getting infected.

What? Fully-fledged zombie survival plan? Me? Never!

Not to mention fatigue. The effort required to fell one of the undead would certainly take it's toll and your blows would become ineffective as you become tired.

Well yes, I do get what you are saying. However most zombie tv shows go along the angle that we all have the virus already. That's why when they die they always come back as a zombie... which tbh throws a bit of a spanner in the works as to why a scratch/bite would hasten up said transformation... but there we go.

Plus.. why do some zombies run and others amble.

How do you kill a zombie? Any way you want to, they're fictional

I found a good way to agitate a zombie... cut off their wifi/data. :p

Not entirely, parasites have been known to infect the brain of insect and animals and make them behave strangely, it's not beyond the realm of possibility that it could happen to humans.

They don't walk... nor are they really dead. But these snails are zombies. They have been hijacked by a parasite that controls their brains and movements. It's a clever ploy to help the parasites' offspring spread and endure...

Caught up with "The Orville". Bit of an odd one - although the plots and general feel have been near-identical to TNG they throw in the odd d*ck joke and some pop culture references. I'd rather it was played more straight or a lot more for laughs.

Still, Seth McFarlane has convinced some of his mates to make some of the starriest guest appearances on any show.

If you have ever read the book Mindhunter by John Douglas and Mark Olshaker, I have just stumbled across Mindhunter on Netflix and thus far I would reccomed a look. Be mindful that the subject of this is a look into the minds of mass murders/ serial killers and how these guys came to set up the FBI's criminal profiling unit by interviewing some of Americas worst sociopaths.

Finished season 1 of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, which I loved and highly recommend if you're after a witty, somewhat naughty, musical comedy. (It's quite a niche show!). Shame the trailer majored on one of the more "musical theatre" numbers, as most of the best songs were pastiches of various genres of music. Most of the YouTube videos are visually and/or vocally NSFW, particularly my favourites. Heck, even some of the song tiles are NSFW. This one's quite safe - main character Rebecca is stalking her ex at a party and fantasising about him (not in that way!).

Anyway, recommended if it sounds like your thing. Started on S2 and gutted to see that one of my favourite characters looks to be being written out :(.

Also finished Season 6 of Once Upon A Time. Despite the ridiculous, slapdash, and illogical plotting of the last few years they managed to pull off a fairly decent ending for the remaining regular cast members. I did feel that they should have spent a bit more money and showed more of the characters that haven't been seen for a while (Ariel, Mulan, Aurora, Red and I'd especially have liked Grumpy/Dreamy to find Nova) though. Unfortunately it's still making enough money to keep going, so it's having a reboot for Season 7 - which I must start soon; I can't resist!

Yep already got my Tony Beets bleep counter reset :)

Also Lucifer Season 3 is looking like an interesting one after the first 2 weeks.

It's actually Season 2.2 - a few episodes filmed for the end of S2 were shunted to S3 for reasons that I haven't yet spotted (though have only seen the first ep to date).

just spent the weekend binge watching Stranger Things season one with my daughter to remind me of what happened and began on season two last night.

It's shaping up very nicely indeed :)

I thought that the Yanks knew Mad Max as "The Road Warrior" back in those days. Also, I was surprised that Jonathan knows The Smiths and The Clash but thinks someone who dresses like Souixsie is trying to look like a member of Kiss. Otherwise, really enjoyed the first 2 - need to find time for more.
