Boredguy Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 No it's just a rerun of the series. There is no plans to remake B5 in any fashion
sted Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 No it's just a rerun of the series. There is no plans to remake B5 in any fashion i thought there was but unspellable lol was giving warners time to "do the right thing" before he goes elsewhere
DJ-1701 Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 Well with some of the cast members passing beyond the rim, it is hard to make new series now.
sted Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 Well with some of the cast members passing beyond the rim, it is hard to make new series now. at this point you would have to assume full reboot because as you said too many are no longer with us to sensibly recast and their "future" was already lore and fixed anyway unless you go do something else in the same universe and just have cameos which i susect would please nobody and go the way of crusade 1

Space: Above & Beyond anyone? 1

unixman_again Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 Which should have been MUCH longer - but some execs decided they didn't like it so it went the same way as so many awesome Sci-Fi shows.... To me B5 is the program where nothing ever happened. I'm glad it's back for the fans though, but I'm not watching. Personally, I would like to see a repeat of Lexx, Quantum Leap and First Wave. The current run of The A-Team on Spike finishes (I think) next week and I believe Knight Rider is filling the gap.
LeMarchand Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 Personally, I would like to see a repeat of Lexx Ah, Lexx - a great start that led to such an ignominious end with the budget saving "set on Earth" season. I watched an ep recently - but "Brigadoom" probably wasn't the best one to pick!
ICTDirect_Dave Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 To me B5 is the program where nothing ever happened. It's the what now? In five series they went through several wars, multiple crises, rebellion, treason, and so much more. Still (despite a strong showing by the reimagined Battlestar Galactica) my favourite SciFi of all time. 2
mavhc Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 BSG needed physics and a plan to beat B5, but it's currently second. Punisher is out on netflix, but I'm already 74 shows behind on netflix.

sted Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 I liked Crusade... so did i i think in the usa they kept shifting the air time and killed it but it been a while
CAWJames Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 Mythbusters reboot...not half bad. They now have a MythDog Spoiler, no Jamie, no Adam
m25man Posted November 17, 2017 Posted November 17, 2017 You may be the only one who's heard of it . ITV Encore. Swedish Police, Mystery, Occult, Drama series. Season 2 Season 1 was weird and 2 even more so. I can only assume it's because the Swedes spend much longer in the dark than we do it seriously affects their minds. But now they have started linking Masonic activities to cover ups and other strange phenomenon such as parasites in human hosts, a group of people called others, evidence tampering and people turning into wood! Maybe it's not that crazy after all! I'm hooked...
phreak Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 Being off work for couple weeks after an op, had a change to catch up with a bunch of stuff i've wanted to watch for ages. Main these: League of Gentlemen: WHY HAVE I NEVER WATCHED THIS BEFORE IT'S AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG Watch the film also, was alright, went a bit to far with the second story in it. Psychoville : On par with LoG loved the storyline and all the charater including Mr Jolly!... no Mr Jelly! Anyone know if the lads did work on any other shows (I know they did Inside No.9 but already seen those!) Punisher Tommorow also If you like LOG then try The Fast show. Very similar in comedy style. On the second episode of the Punisher. Kind of interesting but I am not 100% sure on it yet.

korifugi Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 With the Punisher coming out on Netflix I've finally decided to catch up with the others. I've already gone through Daredevil, just started Jessica Jones - then it'll be Luke Cage & Iron Fist. 1
phreak Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 Tried the first episode of Black Lightning. It definitely has some potential and I am interested to see how it progresses. Although I must admit, how the police (that are apparently after Black Lightning) don't see a guy standing on the rooftop with bright neon thunderbolts on his chest is beyond me. Also someone recommended this one to me and I loved every second of it. Godless, is a western period piece set around an Outlaw called Frank Griffin seeking retribution on a former protégé and gang member. I wouldn't want to give any more of this away, all I will say is that if you enjoyed Deadwood (or those kinds of westerns) then you will probably like this. Although it has much less swearing in it that Deadwood does. Lastly, season 3 of The Magicians has started back up. Loving it!
mavhc Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 The End of the F***ing World, TV Go Home, Man Like Mobeen
ICTDirect_Dave Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 Finally started Lucifer. Excellent so far. They cast him really well and I loved the battlestar galactica reference when they introduced Tricia Helfer in season 2!
Garacesh Posted January 18, 2018 Posted January 18, 2018 Watched all 3 seasons of BBC's Sherlock over the last 2 weeks. Now I find out there's a season 4. It's not on Netflix. It's not on BBC iPlayer Sad Gara
