  1. Can someone point me in the direction of this HWB Tech group please? I've got to migrate 2 primaries from in house AD to HWB, along with 2 instances of Papercut ffs
  2. RCT Schools are being directed to move across to HWB from on prem. I'm in BCBC and it's being encouraged.
  3. As title. For my sanity, can someone comment with something I haven’t tried. I’ve 2x HP G800 elitedesk computers from ictdirect (I have reached out to their support too). When attempting Windows install it boots from usb but immediately shows a scrambled output on the monitor. I have tried. Windows 10 and 11 flavours, both give same issue. Updated Bios Tried different usb drives changed from display port to hdmi Tried different monitors Tried an automated usb install to see if it would get to windows eventually. If I had hair I’d be pulling it out. Thanks Si
  4. We are looking to record our Christmas concerts, last year we upgraded our AV system and have a sound deck, stage mics and individual performer mics. The Head has asked me to look into the best way to record the concerts and have the sound quality of the new mics as an input on the recording device. At the moment, that device is an iPad pro. I've no clue with this type of AV setup, so am not even sure what to google? If anyone has some tips and advice, I'd appreciate it. Thanks
  5. Anyone els experiencing Office apps continuosly asking for credentials to save to sharepoint? 2 of my schools experiencing issues today, done the usual, sign out and back in, cleared credentials and reinstalled Office 365, same thing happening. Si
  6. That's a good shout, I haven't read them in years.
  7. Primary here, everyone has access. Year 1 teachers would like some sort of control but apart from that it's down to the teachers to manage how the pupil access. We rely on kids telling on each other
  8. I really enjoyed Atlas tbf, not very deep but kept me entertained. Watched Godzilla x Kong with the 16yr old last week too and we both enjoyed that too.
  9. Hopefully it'll get better with proper strength and conditioning on it, otherwise there's a fair wait list.
  10. I've managed to tear my meniscus, so my big Ultra marathons I had planned for this year are now a pipe dream. Trying to replace running with the gym.
  11. Would the COUNTBLANK function not work for this? If you're looking to count only blank + green coloured cells then you probably need to use a macro or VBA code.
  12. Meniscus tear seems to have derailed my running plans for the rest of the year, hoping S&C rehab will do the job as apposed to an op
  13. FFS i mean MBps not GB, that was a pre-coffee post.
  14. In our LA (BCBC), Primaries have a 100gb connection and secondaries have 1000gb PSBA. There are a few times where there's a slowdown but for the main its fine. just don't push/update apps via Apple School & whatever MDM your using during the school day, guarenteed to use all your bandwidth.
  15. Was prompted to change the sims password I use to authenticate between sims and edulink and its now back up and running this morning.
  16. Same issue, just reported to our LA.
  17. Thanks all, we went with a covering letter lising his strengths and willingness to learn.
  18. My Son has just announced he would like to get a job, he knows of one locally and needs a CV. What does he include on his CV? He's sitting his GCSE in a few months and has no previous work exp. Cheers Si
  19. I'm old enough to remember using them
  20. It's the first thing to look at when apps don't push or update. Kids are annoying!
  21. Thank you for reaching out to Mosyle Support. At this time, the MDM does not have the ability to remotely manage Low Data Mode. This is not a limitation of Mosyle, but of Apple’s MDM Protocols. If this were to change in the future we will be sure to implement this into our platform. If you are referring to blocking users from modifying changes from the device DNS settings located on Settings > Wifi > select Wifi > click the Wifi > "Configure DNS" section, you could try using the DNS Settings profile on a test device. This profile can be used to lock the DNS settings you apply on supervised devices with the option "Prohibit Disablement (Supervised Only)". However this would require entering DNS settings information on the profile. Feel free to refer to our Help Center article for more information. ** reply I had from Mosyle support **
