plexer Posted May 5, 2015 Posted May 5, 2015 Lockpicking (locksport) is my new hobby. Been doing it 6 months and nothing is safe ! Always been interested never really progressed much though. Was looking at a set of locks at the weekend with differing numbers of pins. Ben

Gaming on the PC, used to play competitive FPS, now i just relax with MMO/survival type games. Hunting/fishing and bush craft stuff. Spending time with the wife when our work schedules sync up. Reading, mainly science and non-fiction.

I use Ebay to buy my locks and to be honest its an extremely cheap and rewarding hobby. Removing wheel clamp locks is very very rewarding I have a set of picks from years ago which I have to be honest I've started using for other things recently as their thin a flexible nature are handy. Love restoring them too, recently got to work on a Mk1 Escort and a VW splitty that was more rust than..well anything else really. Sadly neither of which are mine but, fingers crossed could soon have a little 71 Austin Mini Shell in my sticky mitts with the completely unrealistic aim to build a show car from the bottom up. Spend far too many hours and far too much money watching Everton lose. Either that or I spend all weekend in bed watching re-runs of pointless and the chase

I got a small set years ago but only ever managed to open one of those cheap red "petty cash" type boxes. I dug them out recently and tried to get into a comms cab (it was used for audio equipment and had remotes for projector and electronic screen in, but someone had lost the key!) to no avail. :-(

I play crown green bowls 3 nights a week during the summer months (April - September) and 3 nights a week indoor bowls during the winter months (October - March). Recently qualified as a flat green bowls umpire / marker.

Pete10141748 Posted May 6, 2015 Posted May 6, 2015 Wow, so may of you have completely non-geeky jobs! I, however, am 95% Gaming Nerd Board games (mainly Risk Legacy and Firefly). Magic: The Gathering (attempting to get more Pro). PS4/WiiU/3DS with Monster Hunter 4 (3DS) being the favourite time-waster currently. Luckily I married a lady who is also a gamer! I also swim, play guitar, am learning to play my newly-acquied 12-hole Ocarina (replica of the Ocarina of Time, of course!), spend time with the wife when our work schedules allow us more than a fleeting hour in an evening, and spend time with my bearded dragon Shenron who despite his scales is far more affectionate and cuddle-loving than he looks!

Although injuries this season have caused me to play much less than i would have liked this season. Also coach our under 16 team twice a week which is very fun and rewarding having been coaching them for the last 3/4 years. Apart from that I play squash, just took up golf (I am awful!), pub with friends and try to watch as many films as possible most recent being Jupiter Ascending. Also get addicted to TV series rather quickly and loose some of my life to things like Breaking Bad which i watched the majority of over a couple of weekends.

Xeba37 Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 I climb 3 times a week, yoga/pilates a couple of times a week and an odd spin/body combat class to let off some steam and for cardio fitness. I try and snowboard when I can (I used to teach it but now can afford to have only one job so I have more play time - for now- hurrah). I also love to MTB but a hip injury has put me out of that slightly longer term. Add to that the usual being a social butterfly, trying to find any excuse to go for afternoon tea and that's me
