localzuk Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 One of my oddest ones, snapped randomly whilst on a school trip!
vikpaw Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Caught this the other day and it's on my phone so easy to share. Not my best but fun. The day before they were actually navigating the wrong way around the roundabout and had all traffic stopped.
FragglePete Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 I got invited back in 2010 to help out with an American friend during the Isle of Man TT, he was the Crew Chief of an American racer on his 2nd trip to the races - I could only do 4 days during the practice week, but what a rush. Took a whole load of photos, but this was my favourite: Pete
newpersn Posted April 25, 2014 Author Posted April 25, 2014 Took this at the same place. Like this aswell.

sonofsanta Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Oh you're asking for it now. Was away the start of this week with the missus, for our six years together. Went to the National Tramway Museum on Easter Monday, for their 1940s day - the museum is basically an old high street, so add in a load of WW2 re-enactors and you get an incredible atmosphere and lots of photography fun: Then the Tuesday went up the Heights of Abraham at Matlock Bath in the rain and the fog, though it brightened later: They're all from my 9 year old* Nikon D70s, most of them with the 18-70mm kit lens. 6MP and still going strong Don't get me started on all the photos of the kids taken with my nifty fifty 50mm prime lens. The best money I've ever spent, photography wise. If you have an SLR, you owe it to yourself to get a 35mm/50mm prime lens. *Jesus Christ I'm getting old

Loved my 50mm 1.8 prime so much I decided to upgrade to the 50mm 1.4 Best decision ever.

tmcd35 Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Here are a couple I'm particuarly pleased with... Queens View in Scotland 2003 This Picture, Pitlochary 2003, has some sentimental meaning. My nan always had a picture on her wall and I never new where it was taken (she lived in Essex). Anyway, we were buring her ashes in her home town of Pitlochary in Schotland. Walking down the high street and what do I see... that picture! I had to take my own version of it, unfortunately the red car moved at the wrong time From my 2008 trip to Egypt, this was the view of the pyramids from the roof of our hotel in Cairo. And, the Sphinxes (as the local children called it when they kept asking me if I wanted to see it). And across the Nile to our hotel in Aswan.

Where did you take this? by the look of it, looks like taken in the little island?
MatthewL Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Got a few here: Laid on the run way at RAF Odiham and caught this at last minute. Who you looking at? At Waddington Air Show last year, the heat killed one of my lenses so was lucky to get this. Lake Windermere, really amazed at how good some of these are considering the how the day started. Catching some rays. Few sets of random animal shots here and here. The latter shows a set taken in the same area where a young zoo keeper lost her a life not many months after. And finally this was one of my best nights out taking pics, its what I am used to, although sad so see a local land mark go I was there till the sun came up, this is my bread and butter and was where I caught the final shots although it was a few years ago of a good friend with his colleagues and family together who passed a way a few weeks ago. Although fire is bad in one way its good in another, it was one of the best jobs I have ever been to and to be behind the cordon well that just beats it. Although it looks a big job it was quite small. Hope you like some of the pictures, feel free to browse my others.
