  1. I simply mentioned Nominet to the LEA here and they shat themselves and sorted it
  2. Is the domain a .uk domain? If so, contact Nominet and explain the issue. They will be able to force the LEA to hand the domain over so you can run it through whoever you want. Nominet HTH H
  3. For dedicated hosts, look at Welcome - Online.net Very good, cheap and fast. Service is fast (I have had hardware replacement at 3 in the morning before)
  4. Lime green, OpenDyslexic and 175% zoom here. Loving it. Scrap that, make it Brown. Bold and clear is what I want from a webpage and I now have it on 'Geek
  5. My ride:
  6. Having had my card cloned last week, and only getting a replacement today, my steam store order was promptly rejected by the bank. And then they ring me to ask if it was OK. And from then on, I cant get steam to load due to the high load steam is having. #GoddamitHSBC
  7. I have a similar problem in that I have an R2 server out in the wild. This server has 2 ip external IP addresses in Windows and they both work. I have turned DHCP off to do this. I then went to make a HyperV Ubuntu server and it seems that when I set the Virtual Router up, the whole server looses internet access to the Datacenter network. Any ideas?
  8. Hi all, Due to my partially-sightedness, I often find myself having to zoom in a lot whilst browsing the internet. I have come to notice that when I am zoomed in on EduGeek and go to open an image, it seems not to scale back so all of the image is not displayed. I have enclosed an attachment Thanks Harry
  9. Sorry about the late reply. I moved from amazon to this place as they were cheaper and faster!
  10. I am in the same situation as you. However I dont want to re-flash my Nexus 5 atm (and I cant see how to get my 1st gen Nexus 7 to run L ATM). I am therefore playing with the emulator
  11. As we are comparing really fast internet, I give you: http://www.speedtest.net/result/3827099133.png
  12. Already got it. Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator is epic!
  13. I would say go for a wildcard certificate. This would be easier than lots of certificates, however it is a lot more expensive. Namecheap do them for £60: https://www.namecheap.com/security/ssl-certificates/wildcard.aspx
  14. I wonder when we will be seeing the next version of Windows Server. I really do hope when Threshold comes out it brings a server with it. Why does a server need a metro interface? Not as if anyone is going to use a touch screen with a server.
  15. Could it be this: Xen security bug, you say? Amazon readies GLORIOUS GLOBAL CLOUD REBOOT • The Register
  16. There is one right around the corner from me on the 1st one that I never knew about.
  17. I got one, for some reason, Branson mail got it. I did check, and the card number it gave was none of mine
  18. You could have teachers.school.lea.uk and then students.school.lea.uk
  19. Works fine for me on Virgin Media in Hertfordshire. Using Opera
  20. Voted for ya! Hope you win.
  21. Oh right, did not realise. Also, I might be getting another R9 290X soon, if I could fit it in the case, so I want room to expand
  22. Yes, horrible, horrible, horrible. They requested loads of id. When I sent it to them, it took them a week to validate it. They then gave me a server that had mismatched RAM. Please do not purchase from them and if you do, then be aware that you can not get windows on there without a fight.
  23. Ideally want to cool the whole lot in one loop for space reasons.
  24. Cool. I had a look at AWS for a project but found them so expensive so I have a dedibox from Online.net and it is brilliant.
