We wear an IT Team Black Polo shirt with the school badge, and Black electrician style trousers with safety boots. Beats wearing my own gear and getting it ruined.

I would LOVE an IT polo shirt. Make my life so much easier. I wear smart trousers and boots (for 9 months of the year) and a neat jumper or shirt. Sometimes a jacket if I'm feeling smart.

What always makes me laugh is when the staff inadvertently wear clothes in the school uniform colours - especially when they are smaller than some of the year 8s.

Full suit, nightmare when crawling under desks or behind cabs. My technician was the same until I pointed out that he would be doing a lot more of the dirty jobs like crawling about and the dress code wasn't suited to that. He now has cargo pants and a dark blue polo shirt with school crest on.

Currently wear black polo shirt with the school crest, black pants and black plimsolls. Will be moving to a new school in a few weeks and it will be back to shirt and tie. Think I prefer that actually as it gives off a much better impression and I like wearing suits :p they arnt very practical though!

Polo shirt or shirt with company logo on and black trousers. Boots or shoes depending on what I am doing. Only wore a tie for interview, also have jacket with logo on and jumper depending on how chilly it is.

Could do with some cargo trousers as I am sick of going through black trousers when installing kit.

Suit if i'm in the office without a tie - got them caught just once too many times while leaning over a machine. If i'm out of the office it's shoes, smart trousers and a branded polo. You still get people moaning that we don't look smart enough with them not realizing that tie's are not the safest thing to wear in the IT environment.

Jeans, hoodie and converse most days, my school (primary) is incredibly relaxed about dress code. When I started it was all shirts and smart skirts like my last job, that lasted about 2 minutes when I realised I was one of the only ones wearing this and its not the most practical thing to wear :/ I do like to still make a bit of an effort to look smart when I have meetings with people from outside school though.

Jeans and a hoody too, usually. Work in a special school, so they are very relaxed about it, and you may need to be hands on with the kids to remove them from classes etc should the situation arise, so they don't see much point in wearing smart clothes for them to probably get ruined. Though obviously smart is sometimes required! :)

Shirt and ties for my team.

I wear a suit as the manager. Not expensive ones. It's shoe leather I go through building is quarter of a mile long.

Did request if we could have a uniform (had one at a previous school) but was told it would set a president for other support staff.

We have school supplied polo shirts with the logo, job title and our name. We also wear black/grey trousers but recently we've all bought ourselves proper work trousers with an extra thick section of fabric over the knees and lots of extra pockets. I wear steel toe cap boots even since I dropped a projector on my foot! We went for a grey theme for our tops.

Other support staff departments have gradually decided to follow suit with the polo shirts. Premises wear burgundy, kitchen staff wear black and so on. It certainly makes it easier for people to identify us, the departmental colour coding has made its way to other things aswell.

Suit at all times for me, although mainly due to having a management position, and finding myself in meetings more often than I wish to happen!

My techs wear shirt, tie, trousers etc, however I'm in the process of trying to get an Academy polo shirt for them.

Too often they return back to the office with rolled up sleeves etc, and it just makes them look messier than anything. A polo is just far more practical.
