Hi, Can anyone recommend a hall AV installer? There is already a good setup in place at a secondary school I support, including a projector, screen, and sound desk, but the system hasn’t been maintained for some time. I’m looking for someone who can review the existing installation, identify any issues, and provide recommendations to get everything fully operational again. Bucks area

Hi All, Haven posted here for quite a while but wanted to see what the collective knowledge made of an issue i have So the Smoothwall S9 box works fine between the hours of 8:15am and 4:10pm. outside those hours in continuously reboots so much so that I have to turn it off at night and turn on again in the morning. Obviously Smoothwall are looking at it but just wondered if anyone had encountered a similar issue. Stuff that been tried so far. Rebuilt the OS and reinstalled the backup. cold restart. checked that nothing is happening during those hours on the server/network. They have patched the S9 box Outside those hours if you boot with just the internet in or just the network then it stays up. put both in and it reboots itself. absolutely fine during the day Also anyone with an Smoothwall S9 how noisy is it? This one runs its fans quite a lot but I have been told its normal

Hi All, I've inherited a Watchguard Firewall in a school i now support. never used this so a steep learning curve. They use Authentication with AD but I have a set of IP that will connect to the WiFi but have no internet and wont connect to the Auth page. so for example 10.67.25.0 range will connect but 10.67.26.0 range wont. any ideas on watchguard where I add that range to accept the AUth page hope this makes sense

Hi, how do I block students from external domains? I can see you can do a global block but not user spesific. Have created a policy to block chat. but cant find the way to add students to a policy that only allow the internal domain

HI, wondered if anyone has solved this issue. I'm in a new build where all the IT was configured for us and then handed over. The Aruba wireless works fine apart from the guest access. I want to be able to automatically put in the proxy address for the guest or reroute there traffic through it. Current they have to enter the proxy manually is there a way of the aruba putting the proxy in for me. The installing company don't know how to do it. Thanks in advance Matt

Morning all, new to Promethean boards quite impressed at the moment even though i'm not a big fan of android. The school im working with have a few of these an will be implementing more in the future. my question is (i'm sure i will have others) Is there a way of setting all the apps you want to use on one board then copying that config across to the other boards. Hi, I'm new to Promethean products. Have a Dell desktop connected via HDMI to a interactive panel and a monitor connected via VGA. The issue i'm encountering is if the user switches on their PC before the board then the board is not recognised as attached. If I shutdown the PC and make sure the board is fully booted and then turn on the PC then they will share screens. Am I missing something really simple. Have six of these all with the same issue. thansk Matt

although I dismissed it I went for a Amazon fire 8 HD 32GB as it was such a good price and just for entertainment it does the job. As i have both Amazon prime and Netflix its good. browser leaves a little to be desired and lack of google can be a bit frustrating sometimes but I then just use my laptop.

Not for school but me personally. Leaving my current position and starting a new job:rockon:. Unfortunately means will have to give up the Ipad I have had through the school. Any recommendations on budget tablets. doesn’t need to be too fancy just to run things like Iplayer, amazon prime, Google apps and social media. Looked at Amazon fire but doesn't run Google.
