  1. Couldn't agree more @GrumbleDook; as much as I'd hate to lose him, I've actually pointed my boss towards this vacancy, as it looks to be an opportunity best not ignored.
  2. Restart the RM Connection Pool first, then the RM Dal Config Service. We've had quite a few issues with the Service Host, and this provides an almost immediate fix in most cases. The RMDCS restarts service host as part of it's restart anyway. Hope this helps. iForgot
  3. We've been in contact with them all day, and it's a global issue. I'm only just starting to receive messages that were sent prior to 10am. Quite frankly, I'm more than a little frustrated with their service so far. And as for their support?! Hmmmmm... iForgot
  4. Congratulations! Echoing @ICTDirect_Dave, buy as many of the essentials as possible now. We bought copious amounts of baby wipes and nappies (loads of size 1's and 2's), signed up for all the offers available from Bounty, Boots, Cow & Gate etc, and received loads of goodies throughout the pregnancy. You're about to embark on THE best journey you could imagine, albeit will spend much of it in a zombie-like state of sleepiness. Enjoy, and get as much rest as possible now! iForgot
  5. We've used a company called LaserLife, and we're very happy with the pricing and service offered. We have a deal that includes printer repairs after x amount of toners purchased etc. Handy with older HP 3600's etc that have the odd problem, and they'll pop along and service them and have them running as new. Delivery has always been next business day, without fail. And on the odd occasion were we've had a faulty unit, replacements have been issued straight away. Highly recommended. iForgot
  6. @FN-GM - Thank you iForgot
  7. And the car has arrived! Pictures will be going up tomorrow, but for now I've got some prep to do...interview in the morning! iForgot
  8. @zag - if you want electric, keep an eye out for their GTE which I believe is due in 2015 iForgot
  9. I can totally understand why too, as they're brilliant cars. The thing swung it for me was the overall feel of the car. There is no comparison to the quality feel behind one of their wheels. Can't wait, picking it up at 10am tomorrow....!! Had a little drive by the dealership earlier too, and it's there waiting for me
  10. @john - It adds an additional 10bhp upping it to 227bhp, larger breaks, limited slip differential. iForgot
  11. How about a pen? SLT are always so quick to jump on the iDevice wagon, as if this is the answer to all their prayers. We've recently been implementing these devices throughout our Academy, and rarely have I seen them put to any decent use. The problem is, while SLT love the idea of them, quite often the teachers aren't ready to truly introduce them into their lesson plans. This results in the devices being used predominately as a sedative for the somewhat more challenging students. That being said, I've been tasked with purchasing another class set tomorrow... iForgot
  12. We use RM Tutor 5 within our establishment, although there are alternatives like Net Control 2, or Net Support School. iForgot
  13. Somehow I managed to miss this, perhaps because I've not been charged for it... It's got the additional performance pack! Woohoo! I've just sorted the insurance, and it's registered as including it. Checked with VW and that is the case. I do love free stuff! iForgot
  14. We're in the process of a reprographics review, however until then we do the following. - Maintain paper stock for site, and issue to a central location. All staff are to collect their own paper when required. - Replace toner, water toner bottles, staples etc when required. We used to run a reprographics service, however this has now become a whole department itself. iForgot
  15. I've been down the ST route previously with an 02 plate ST-170. Before picking the GTI I had a drive in a newer ST, and just found the cabin to be a less inviting place to sit. The new GTI seats are ridiculously comfortable too. If you have the opportunity to prior to ordering, give the GTI a quick blast, I'm sure you won't be disappointed! iForgot
