    I’m assuming some of you have deployed the Casio emulator software. Where did you stick the license server? I’m thinking of putting it on a apps server , or would it be fine on my desktop?

    We have a dedicated ou for this , we know the dates when they start and finish and it expires the day they leave. These accounts are locked down more than the standard staff account

    Been adding and removing vcpus for ages now , just upped an apps server from 2 vcpus to 4 and it’s working great

    Sharepoint in the file explorer for shared areas, Mapped drive for home drives

    I use cloudns for personal hosting its free up to 500k requests a month I believe , not sure if they support sch.uk though. I can recommend azure dns as well

    My experience has always been good with HPE. i've had a few drives fail on me the past few years. I've always received the drives the next day and the phone support has always been great. Seems out of character for HPE support in my view

    I would get a small nas and map it via gpo to your users

    Don't leave files locally will cause you a world of trouble! 100 % either go with folder re-direction or look to move to onedrive/sharepoint

    Redstor is a decent solution although i think its cloud only. Another one is altaro. Although i do prefer veeam these days
