    This , anytime I’ve had Paxton issues I haven’t been able to resolve in a hour or so I’ve escalated to Paxton support. They are always second to none

    I know of a few trusts who have centralised there servers into collocations or a trust data centre instead of moving servers to the cloud. I know sql servers can be quite costly on azure.

    Zabbix - requires abit of learning if you haven’t used / set it up before but it’s free and good once you get it tuned to your needs.

    Have ran Hikvison on Avigilon’s software before. Was windows based and we ran it on a bare mental supermicro box

    I’m going to risk it on the Friday , most Avanti services go to wolves so I should be fine if I plan it

    +1 , it’s been replaced with a more scaled back version I believe

    I would recommend Veeam ,I’ve got multiple vm clusters i back up nightly. 350+ virtual machines. Also use Veeam one on top of this to monitor any backup alerts etc

    Usually do subnets/vlans like this 10.10.10.xx - switch / wireless management 10.10.15.xx - SAN Networks 10.10.20.xx -servers And so on. Usually change the second octect for different sites etc
