  1. Strange one as RM Integris was the worst cloud based MIS and haven't really added many schools over the past 3 years. Maybe the RM Finance part is the better part of the deal?
  2. What version of firmware are the AP's on as well as the controller?
  3. Im assuming this is just when you use Activ Inspire, does it take a long time to load up the flame part at the start? Then just hang at every step? If so I remember a issue with roaming profiles or local profile folder and its to do with the admin.ini file in prog files in Promethean folder. There are a couple of lines you can add.
  4. Depends what you want to backup, email, VM's etc. Altaro and Wasabi is a decent option if price is a big thing.
  5. Have you tested the connection speed directly into your termination equipment? Bypassing Sophos as a test?
  6. Not sure you would need or want to backup all student data? It will backup all shared drives on any amount.
  7. Using Datto/Backupify £1.50 per user per month.
  8. Altaro. price point is good. Very simple to use.
  9. Seeing a load more power cut issues then Broadband outages past 12 months.

    Stone AIO PCs

Would stick to HP AIO if I was you.
  11. I think you maybe confusing the 2 options O365 A3 and MS365 A3 are different so be careful if you are looking to replace your OVS agreement with the correct one. Most schools will want to go with MS365 A3/A5 as it will cover Windows 10/11 licenses and Office software, however your devices will need to be enrolled into Azure so the licenses can activate for different users. Current OVS licenses activate on prem using MAK for example as a one off. Like others have said MS 365 A3 comes with Intune etc as well so is the main one you want to bundle together.
  12. Do yourself a favour and use Datto.
  13. Check out Newline, very good screens and the price point has allowed some schools to purchase 86" models!
  14. Yep you can't, you either need Promethean panels or pay for the software license, or move to Classflow.
  15. Keystone MIS, been great and feedback is excellent.
  16. Primarily it was always a safeguarding and classroom management tool, with remote tools add on. Impero had so many more issues, it just didn't work. I am sure Senso are working on the issues, no software is perfect. Its why you always have a backup option, remote support is something if you heavily need you invest in a product which does that specifically and does it well.
  17. Not sure it was ever the correct product to remotely manage/support 5000 endpoints, we use third party software for remote support, Senso is mainly used by teachers.
  18. Newline have been very good and the price point is still very low.
  19. Depends as these all get deal reg'd by any partner you request a quote from. Also can be very random pricing depending on the amount if you are part of a trust. So getting competitive quotes is virtually impossible. Promethean 75" Nickel should be under £2k for one or 2, plus 10 £1700ish or less. NewLine 75" looking at £1400 or less per panel depends on the amounts. You would need to factor in install costs.
  20. I agree Snipe IT all the way, Parago is bad.
  21. Bad software, bad support and expensive, very good at sales to schools.
  22. Do you use roaming Profiles? Worth looking at admin ini file in the activ inspire folder, add location to app data to the activ folders create them if not in there. Will load in 2 seconds after. Not had the issue anymore but dug out some old stuff: Edit admin ini, change to correct location roaming or local 12=C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\ActivInspire Make sure you can see this Add the folder to C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\ActivInspire (add the ActivInspire folder)
  23. That old chestnut, still here that in Staffordshire schools!
  24. Anything is better than Entrust! How schools still buy anything from Capita related companies blows my mind.
  25. If you are using all the Gsuite features and just 365 for email makes sense to move to the one system. Both systems tick all the boxes you need, just depends which one you and the staff prefer. If its total web experience you want then Gsuite wins if you prefer hybrid setup then MS365. We have moved schools one way or the other.
