  1. We've had issues with dropping the internet since the latest version of senso and have been working with Senso to fix the issues, which they have for us. The problem related to the Filter Bridge, since making a change last for us last week the problem seems to have been fixed.
  2. We use ViewSonic screens, if something goes wrong with the screen they simply swap the screen out.
  3. If you have a dedicated HR team this should be done by them, if not a member of the admin team should be doing it. I only add staff members on if the designated staff member is off work for any reason and it can't wait until they return which rarely happens.
  4. We've not been able to use the Every issues app on either Android or IOS for the past couple of days. I've contacted Every support and they said the dev team are working on the apps at the moment to fix any issues.
  5. We use Every compliance as well as their asset management modules and ticket system for our site team so staff can raise issues. I would say the compliance side and ticketing system works well, the asset management module is a little more basic in its functionality than I would like though.
  6. I simply install the server side of it onto my exams officer desktop pc, it works well and our exams officer likes having it installed on the local machine.
  7. Bromcom has a student portal app where the students can log in and see their timetable etc, you can configure what they can see in the same way you can for the parent app.
  8. We tested a couple of apps for our Site team and found the location accuracy not good enough. One of the apps showed out staff member out, moving around a field across the road from us, all while they aware stood in front of me and their phone was on their desk. In the end we came to the conclusion this type of app may work for users going from one site to another or over very large sites but they just weren't accurate enough for us.
  9. Hi everyone, We’ve recently moved to Lightspeed filtering and I've unblocked a youtube channel for one of our teachers (we may investigate Smart Play in the future) by adding the channel into the custom allow list for our students group. After 10 minutes I logged into a test student account and tried to navigate to the youtube channel via the google search result and got the standard block message when I clicked on the link. As a test I copied the channel URL into the search bar and again got the block message, I can access the channel via a direct video link and then click on the channel name to see the other videos on the channel, if I then refresh that page, I once again get the block page. Is this normal behaviour for Lightspeed? I would assume that using the direct link to the channel page I should be able to access it, and when I have accessed it using the long-winded method, refreshing the page wouldn’t block it again. Thanks
  10. Have you tried Cura? We have a Creality Ender but don't print to it directly over USB, we export to an SD card and print that way, that's also they way I print to my printers at home.
  11. Seems to be working for me. I did see an issue yesterday when it said page couldn't be found but after a refresh it worked again.
  12. It was the actual token record, so the record for the card that got corrupted for us. It seems as though the corruption occurred within InVentry and then synced over to Paxton which caused our issue.
  13. Do you have any anything linked to Paxton that could be causing an issue? We had a strange issue this week with our Paxton. All of our associated tokens suddenly disappeared, if I added them back manually they would be removed after 20 minutes. After contacting InVentry (we have a sync between Inventry and Paxton setup) to see if the problem was on their end, it turned out all of our door associations were corrupt and had to be removed and setup again (took around 10 minutes).
  14. We use laptops along with ExamWritePad and save to the local drive, this way if the network goes down the only problem would be printing the paper but if that happens we can always save the file to a usb drive and print the paper manually. If the power goes down we may lose lighting, but in the summer that's not too much of an issue, the main thing we would lose is our TV screens showing the start and end time of the exam etc but we always have a whiteboard/flipchart as a backup as well.
