Hello! Thanks for the reply. So I’m looking for some software to upload policies and procedures too that can alert us to when they maybe due for review. Something like Every HR but I’m just wondering what others may use? I’d like it to hold things like Health and Safety info and items about the Estate. A helpdesking system would also be a bonus to assign tickets and asset management. thanks again! -
Hello, I’m wondering if anyones got any suggestions for a simple tool that we can use to add users to active directory? I’d like to be able to setup templates so that the team have a simple way of adding the user to the correct OU and additionally adding the correct security groups to the added user. It’s to try and avoid user error when adding users onto the system. Bulk creation would be good to this would avoid the use of power shell. Thanks

Hello, 2 Questions: Do you have a link to the development ideas form please? Also we've been using the Alerts system this morning and a number of staff have said it sends a notifcation email to there school and personal email, is there a way of turning this off just so it does to the school one. Thanks!

Just checking out the new alerts system, looks good. However how do we add custom reasons for alerts? We use it primarily for a pastoral incident when i teacher needs a member of the pastoral team during a lesson to come up, there doesn't seem to be this option. Thanks

Hello, I was wondering if we've had any movement on this? We're very keen to use it! Thanks

Hello, I’m just wondering if anyone on here can recommend a decent helpdesk system for education? We’re looking at something not just for IT but also for the premises team and maybe others to log and receive tickets etc. Office 365 integration would be preferable. Thanks in advance,

Hello! Wondering if anyone has any suggestions to this particular problem. Ive been tasked to find a computer bench (I suppose round) to place 4 computers on. We kind of want to use it as an information technology pod for surfing the web etc and place the 4 computers on the table with dividers between each one so students can just use them as and when. Has anyone got any suggestions on places to buy something like this? Ive posted a link below to the kind of thing we have in mind but a bit smaller: Modern Style Office Round Workstation For Four Persons for sale - Price,China Manufacturer,Supplier 1065185 Thanks

All my other machines build just the new laptops and desktops don't! Ahhhh! Stressing me out! So I'm hoping its just a driver issue, ill try some other versions tommrow and pray! In the mean time I hope you get sorted!- 6 replies

Thanks so much would be really grateful if you can check when you can. The machines all PXE boot and it gets to just after the bootstrapper phase of the install so I'm not sure adding them to a build disk would help? Whats the problem your having with RMMC maybe we can help! Thanks- 6 replies

RM Build Failing for New Hp Machines (Realtek)

Thanks for your help on this! Would it be possible to tell me if your cards are Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller and when driver version you may have? I'll give the package build group a go in the morning. Thanks again Steve- 6 replies

Got an issue thats baffling me at the minute, we've just purchased a number of new HP machines (Laptops and Desktops) I tested and built one of each before ordering using the RM Build Client. But weirdly on build at the install 'additional packages stage' they all but a few seem to fail. The Desktops use a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller card as my assumption was the network card? All other computers can still be imaged, and we're on a CC4 network. The driver version for that card it the latest one and I've checked on the machines and they all run the same driver! Ive reset the server host and cleared the Microsoft queuing list as asked to do by RM, has anyone got any windows 7 machines with those cards running correctly on an RM System? Of course that is me assuming its the cards fault! Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm fast running out of ideas! Thanks Steve
