What doesn't work with it? Has the server been rebooted? Does the machine pass a connectivity test to the Linux box if so it could then be either something on the Linux box or something that is stopping it external. If you are using GSuite or O365 for school mail just create an account and get the devices to use that, obviously ensuring the machines can talk to that externally and do away with the Linux box unless its running something else. I'm not up on Linux but would you should be able to interrogate the mail queue to see if there if something stuck causing the issue.

Just found if setup as an admin so its all working, I've set my program files for users to modify when they launch the UAC will prompt, user to authenticate as themselves it will work ok. Just cannot make changes as it writes to the registry it seems. If you find the keys and change permissions you will be good to go with that.

Have you tried giving users modify access to said location of where iVMS is installed does that work? Failing that have you looked at Blue Iris I have used it in the past. There is a small cost I think but worth it. Especially if you have cameras from multiple suppliers too.

Run a monitor on the IP address of the box and see what ports are been blocked then create a run from SkyQ to outside on said ports.

Do you have a DSL socket on the back of your new router, if so plug it in there. I initially plugged mine into WAN the other day and no joy, didn't even see the DSL one and first experience of actually having a FTTC circuit of my own. Mine was a PlusNet router, I even think the BT engineer had left it like that and not properly tested it by but I didn't get there for hours after he had gone.

There is the alarm when lifted option but do you have to have the green break glass points if they are already wired into the alarm so open when that goes off?

Ok looks like it could be a gateway issue, cannot ping local gateway from Pi. Would explain a few things.

I have a Pi running Pi-Hole and Unifi on with no issue except I am unable to remote to it from anything other than my LAN so not externally with a NAT in place or via a VPN via my pFsense box. Any suggestions as I am not a debain expert.

This is a known issue where jobs are been hidden and there is a hot fix available. I bet the jobs are still in the windows queue but don't show in PaperCut for release.

I moved my mail from 1&1 to O365 and I have next to no spam compared to the hundreds I used to receive daily, lucky if I get 1 or 2 a week now. Quite a bold statement I think.

I have installs 4 or 5 times bigger running on the internal database with no issues. It's not till your at the 10k user mark when they recommend going to an external database.

The time restriction is a new feature from 19.1.5 that is on all virtual printers, not quite clear what it exactly does but if you change it it will turn it back on. Selectec have informed me of the above today.

I think there might be a bug with PaperCut, was you on 19.1.5 build 52403? I've had one today with time restrictions on the virtual queues and jobs are hidden from the release station. Check your logs > applications logs and see if the jobs state that. Also look at jobs pending release and then compare that with total number in your virtual printers via control panel > printers.

I know years ago the Dell engineer had a boot disk where they could do this from, not sure if its in the public domain but worth a look.

The users where it it is popping up on another computer they are not logged in on said computer but switched user? Something isn't marrying up and would be looking DNS if not above.

Pyronix is what I have and seems to be the choice of system around here for various installers. I've got a 6 year old wireless version as I fitted it after I had done the work in the house but just put a wired version in at my brothers which I much prefer. Mine has a SIM card in and texts me if it goes off, there are fobs available to set and unset too but my Brothers will be connected to their cloud and use an app which can be used for alerting and also setting and unsetting. The actual panel is nice and alot easier to use than mine. Speaking to my mate who installed it you can link outputs for other things i.e. switching lights on as you arrive home and unset it, they also have something to do with Hikvision so can link with your CCTV if you have it as another output, driveway gates/garage doors, the list seemed quite endless. I'm yet to get it online due to not having internet installed yet but there is a web interface too I believe. You can also get smoke detectors plus various other bits to go with. He installs them commercially with no issues either. They seem quite good systems from what I've seen and even considered upgrading mine but really I don't need to.

I wouldn't, if they really need to print and are on site then they bring their own printer and connect to that.

Thanks, if I wanted to do more than x character presume just replace with >? I did try but it doesn't seem to work for greater than.

I have a query in Access and I have 1 column which I need to filter if it has less than x characters in that column. Is there a way to do it? I did try =Len([column]) <="x" but that didn't work. Any suggestions?

Never had an issue with them, been with them since 2003 on dialup! Moved the land line over to them a few years ago and saved a small fortune.
