Yes pfSense is DHCP server. I will have another look and see where I am going wrong. Think its to do with the port the switch is connected back into the pfSense box.

Got a slight VLAN issue with my pFsense setup, cannot get my DHCP scope working on my Guest VLAN SSID on Site B. Sites linked via an OpenVPN tunnel and can see and communicate with everything. Site A Firewall - 192.168.20.253 Unifi Controller - 192.168.20.251 Site B Firewall - 192.168.30.253 Switch - 192.168.30.252 linked via port 8 to firewall Unifi AP - 192.168.30.245 linked via port 1 to switch SSID 1 - works fine and issues DHCP 192.168.30.0/24 SSID 2 - is VLAN ID 3666 DHCP scope setup on pFense, should be dishing out 10.254.254.0/24 Ports 1 and 8 (WAP & Uplink) on switch tagged with VLAN 3666 VLAN setup on pFsense with DHCP options in, I use a Netgate SG-1100 at site B, it has a WAN, LAN & OPT port, switch plugged into LAN. This is the VLAN setup on the port, I know I need to add 3666 into this but on on the members which wants to be tagged (t) or untagged as I thin this is the issue? Any thoughts?

Many MAT's are going down the MPLS route with central domains and several with central phone systems but as a starter get the network in place, allow schools viability of say central office network even if its just network routing, sort DNS so it resolves back and then at least staff can work in schools with access to what they need as a starter whilst you migrate things. Then you could look at domain trusts if you need to share files with a view to moving to one system. I have done similar in the past and I've been left the last place 7 years and they are still mid transition to one domain and no chance of it been completed soon so plan well and put some time scales to migrations.

Sometimes just observing staff work can throw things up, I was with someone last week that didn't know you could print all sheets in an excel document in one go and through you had to do one at a time. ECDL is a good place to start, also mail merge if they didn't know about it already. Also some basic formula in excel such as lookup and SUM/COUNT.

Glad you are sorted, just something to check, your virtual printer should be set to a port set to nul (may need creating as a local port), this can save you some issues later down the line and PaperCut recommend this. Also are you on a higher version of PaperCut that 19.1.3 at the moment as there are some issues in versions above.

Have version controller are you running and where is it hosted? I've just rebuilt mine onto a Pi, if you have one spare one or can setup a new server and get a few AP's connected to that and see if it makes a difference.

Could well be using Postfix, have a look at this article. If you cannot ping the server does it still have the same IP address, try running ifconfig which will bring it up. I had a Linux box loose its gateway and DNS recently so check you can ping out from the Linux box to said mailserver too.
