  1. At least you have got to the bottom of it now.
  2. We have been lucky on east coast, high tide was at 0600. Biggest problem would have been the wind but it never came. See what 1800 high tide brings, hopefully it will be nothing.
  3. To those living along the east coast particularly East Yorkshire past the Humber into Lincolnshire and down to Norfolk/Essex area I hope the high tide in the morning doesn't bring any trouble with it. Those that live in the affected area, listen to advise and if you are asked to evacuate don't ignore it. A large number of Fire & Rescue resources (flood rescue and high volume pumping units) have been sent into the areas this evening as well as Army personnel to assist in Lincolnshire so they are as prepared as can be with the mobilisation of more resources at 0400. I'm on standby with a group I volunteer for for extra resource but lets hope things don't get that bad. Keep an eye on social media and the local media for an updates in your areas also the gov.uk flood website: https://flood-warning-information.service.gov.uk/ Also if your out in the car and come across any flooding follow any advise here. Same again tomorrow tea time with another high tide and possible more over the weekend.
  4. What about if you give it an IP and a laptop one in the same range and just put a cable between the two? Something I suspect is wrong with the copier.
  5. I suspect home/work life balance, becoming a common topic in places and VW in Germany have done it.
  6. What happens if you give it a static IP not in the DHCP scope do you get the same message? Presume the machine has had a full reboot including power off at the wall? I'm not familiar with the devices but can you reset the network card on it?
  7. Disable it and see what breaks, good thing with Watchguard you can do that. Never known anything to use port 0, suspect someone has tried something in the past and never removed it.
  8. PaperCut way forward. You can then report on your other printers and put rules in place. Using codes on machines is a faff, other people use other codes, they can often work intermittent depending what application you are printing from also. Save yourself the hassle get PaperCut, will give you far more accurate information and you can invest to save with this.
  9. I've had huge issues getting 5222 working via some LA's. I've often had to delete and re add the print for it to connect and show online in the past. Have you tried recreating the printer to Google?
  10. I wouldn't touch BT with a barge pole. When I was at home we were with PlusNet (yes part of BT but a totally different company) started with them on dial up and still on ADSL with them. They have always been great when there has been issues (which have all been BT related), there is a faulty piece of kit in the local exchange called a mux (?) that has faulty ports on, this causes mine to slow down and as a result needs swapping, also in line with that the IP profile needs resetting and then left for 10 days to retrain. Other than a physical line fault I've never had any issues but you don't mention weather its ADSL or FTTC you are on? I would fight to get a broadband engineer out, get them to check your line, check the mux and once then back to the ISP request a IP profile reset.
  11. I have had more success using the Universal PS3 driver, which can be found here. It seems to behave better than the Universal 2 one.
  12. Have you used Twitter? For a group I am member of we have picked up new members via this medium. What about local radio/papers? Is there any groups for women's touch rugby, can you advertise in there as I suspect its one of the first places someone would go when looking to join such group.
  13. There is known issues with Toshiba drivers on Windows 7 and 10 I believe it is. The Universal 2 one appears to be the bigger problem, I am just waiting on clarification and will send a link to one that is more stable. What model Toshiba MFD are you using?
  14. ManageEngine isn't bad, even got a mobile app like Spiceworks so you can access it on the go providing you have access. Some former colleagues who have setup have the paid for version of ManageEngine and it does have some nice add in's which is good in a corporate world especially around audits etc.
  15. I would be looking at something from Canon, not sure weather you will get it for £500. The Canon ipf670 (large format plotter type machine) has network and is a good machine but its a lot bigger than you wanted.
  16. Never heard of them, quick look appears they do more PTP type links. Have a look at Ubiquiti, most people swear by them on here, I am about to buy a few for home.
  17. Maybe the moderation option is one that could be used for all staff type lists, does anyone use this feature?
  18. Anyone in or around the Newark area? Well Newark, Nottingham, Mansfield, Worksop, Lincoln, Grantham or Sleaford? I am involved in an event at the Showground in July and doing a bit of social media management, who are they key radio stations/local press in the Newark area I can target?
  19. You should be able to phone them up to get a certificate to state she has 5 years no claims. I've always had my insurance on my own from day 1 and had parents as named drivers to reduce it that way, still costs me a fortune and I'm coming into my 11th year of driving.
  20. There is quite a few videos from them on YouTube DaveP regarding the tube, been watching a few of them recently.
  21. Other option to link would be look at the Ubiquiti point to point links as seen on this page. They are cracking bits of kit and in such short distance they would be more than enough. We have them running a wireless internet around here off various tower sites with no issues.
  22. I'd be greatful for anything I got as a present. I'm no gamer so cannot comment from that point of view, the only thing I would have added in would be a SSD but hardware isn't cheap these days. I'm lucky if I get £100 spent on me!!
  23. A backup before you do it?
  24. They are a good team, there is only a few of them I believe its not a massive place. Since version 2 has come out its a vast improvement over the last one.
  25. What ever you get make sure they will last, the slightest bit of damage to a card or sticker will render is useless if the damage is in the wrong place.
