I travel a bit by train and have a rather small (20L) rucksack which does the job but its carrying absolute minimal. I am after something a little bigger and bit tougher and that is still small but practical for in the likes of London. I want to be able to put a jumper or small waterproof coat in rather than wearing all layers. Any recommendations without breaking the bank? Any brands to go for/avoid, ideally waterproof, laptop slot not necessary but if it has one bonus. I plan on doing a bit more travelling this year via train due to some issues I have in distance driving now and also my first time to London in a few weeks I want something better than I have. Also if it can fit my SLR in great to save carrying my camera bag that would also be a bonus.

I did read something about ISDN been switched off in the near future so you might want to factor that in if you are looking to upgrade the system. Don't think so off the top of my head. A friend of mine has just rolled out some Grandstream GXP2170 with FreePBX and the handsets were quite cheap compared to others and have alot of features with them. Might be worth looking at.

Yeah PaperCut picks them up, just note if you are renaming printers that connect to a follow me/print and collect check they are checked in your virtual queue to jobs can be release to it. If its just a standard printer don't worry.

There is nothing to them as it is now so making them smaller will be criminal. What about those who are ill and often need sugar boosts from time to time. Sod the Government, companies are told what they can and cannot do these days it shouldn't be like that. It's not had any affect over the years, maybe they should do something to get kids outside if they are concerned they are getting over weight rather that sitting in from of the TV.

Don't recognise many of these! I work in IT but do better with the #guessthekit ones various fire stations run on Twitter run and I can identify most of it.

Sharp is one of the most user friendly machines going, now depending on what machine you get, some of the older ones do not have the newer interface on they are clunky. Sharp and PaperCut MF integrate very well and was the first to get the integrated scanning, Kyocera and Toshiba is v 17 of PaperCut will have it. You can do a lot of the box with Sharp that you cannot with any others and they are all customisable to you needs including function buttons can be programmed for booklet making so all you do is press the button and put your qty in. As long as the machines are looked after, decent paper put through them they will easily last 5 years but you do have to realise all copiers have an average volume they are capable of say a month and lots of people exceed that and except there not to be issues.

Another one for the Kingston ones. Got mine on my keys to I don't loose it and it gets hammered daily and never had an issue.

Yet to find anything, if anyone does it will make a lot of people happy!

Been there done that and the feeling in the end is great. Got a stack of before and after shots from many a Saturday morning I've done.

Here are the PaperCut notes on it. Now in theory you wouldn't need one but I haven't tried it. What I would do is create my virtual queue everyone prints to, make said users release managers and then when you release the list of printers would come up. I haven't got a test instance setup to try it but I can't see why not, bit messy and relies on a release manager but should do the job. If you get stuck drop me a line and I will help where I can.

I'm still having some issues with Toshiba using the universal PS3. Both screenshots are the same driver, top is what it should be like, bottom is when it goes belly up. Anyone seen a driver so this before?

One reason I have dash cam front and back now. I don't feel safe on the roads and when I can I won't drive, I've had enough. I average 25k a year and see things daily, I can tell within 5 minutes of leaving the house what sort of day it is going to be. M62 last year near to Wakefield car in first lane going so slow a lorry nearly took them out it was soo close. Lane hoggers, idiots on phones, idiots not paying attention, the standard of driving has gone down the pan I think. Young newly passed drivers have no experience, older drivers just want to get everywhere yesterday as do taxi drivers and van drivers. I stick my car in cruise and just sit there, if I was working on my doorstep I wouldn't be driving anymore, I hate it and will even go out of my way not to avoid rush hours in certain places. I must do 100+ miles mostly motorway and very rarely see any form of enforcement.

Another larger NAS to store more backup's on? Phone System? You got a VOIP one? Convert lines to SIP save cost? Internet, what sort of connection do you have?

Does anyone on here use a dual sim phone, particularly a dual active sim (calls can come in on both at once as such). What phone do you use and can you turn one off as such (i.e. work one at 1700)?

New one to me been bought out! BT use alot of Avaya kit in place of the old Nortel stuff. The tool your looking at is probably the OneX client but depends if your system is configured/licensed for it.

Samsung were doing some quite good colour lasers which I would have recommended. I would recommend laser all the way, that was ink doesn't dry up. I wouldn't entertain the HP idea where you get x prints free but one thing I will say with any device look at how much it would cost to replace toners/drums etc as and when they do, sometimes its worth spending a bit more to get cheaper consumables as some it can be cheaper to buy a new printer when they run out! Dell are re-branded Lexmark machines also.

If anyone forgets any passwords or pin do not reset, login to Android device manager and you can reset it under the lock function. Also those with Android I'd recommend if you haven't making sure you phone is linked as you can use it to trace if lost!

I was on road most of the day yesterday so couldn't sit down and look into issue till last night at which point they had reset the phone and this is when we get problems! When you setup the Pixel from scratch you have to enter a Google account, as they were not sure which they had used it caused issues. Once working out which on used we had to reset password then you have to basically leave the phone 24 hours before you can do anything with it. Cannot sign in with new account as its linked to the other one. Now in hindsight it would have been easier to reset the google account then lock and unlock the password on the phone and do it that way but we are where we are. I've never seen something so locked down as it is. 1930 is the 24 hour point. Any suggestions if it makes sense. I'm pulling what hair I have left out.

Job retention/print hold on your photocopier. Give them a printer and everyone else will want one and defeats the object of managing printing.
