Personally I would go Fujitsu but why don't you just set your copier to scan to a network folder secured to only said people can access it, that is cheaper than buying a scanner.

I would always run a cable, hate mini switches causes no end of issues, especially when things stop working they plug in and then create a loop. Another point shouldn't cost any more than £100 to add in.

Upgrades are easy, just ensure you backup your database and note the version you was on. Its just a next next next process. You can only upgrade if you are still in maintenance also. Thew new mobility print is a separate installer file, I'm told its an easy setup, just not had 5 minutes yet. PaperCut is a simple product I find to work with when doing upgrades.

Are you trying to get a IP from the server its self, if this is the DHCP server it needs to be static.
