We’re seeking a visionary User Technology Engineering Lead to drive the modernisation of our end-user computing estate. This is a pivotal role within our transformation programme, focused on delivering a secure, scalable, and user-centric technology experience for staff and students. You’ll lead the technical delivery of a modern endpoint management strategy, replacing legacy practices with cutting-edge solutions such as Microsoft Intune, Jamf Pro, and SCCM. Re the Dell UD22 being EOML in March 2025 - a roadmap briefing from our account manager, there are new Dell Smart Docks coming in April - but they will not replace the UD (universal Dock) range

Dell are EOL these docks and not replacing these at all - so if you want more I'd suggest you grab them now. We've tried many things but basically the Kensington whilst being the most expensive do cover pretty much anything you may need

Data & Technology Services - London School of Economics and Political Science Support Officer (End User Computing Service Line) Salary from £33,558 to £38,541 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £41,404pa inclusive of London allowance LSE’s Data and Technology Services division provides services to over 10,000 staff and student users. Responsible for providing second line service and support to the End User Computing service line. The role is primarily accountable for handling second- line service calls and ensuring the third- line teams within the department and in Business Led Technology teams, are operating to agreed service levels. The post holder will need to have proven technical experience to assist Faculty and Professional Services staff with their IT problems and provide specialist knowledge of software used within the School. They will need to understand specialised computer specifications based on each Faculties need and be able to troubleshoot any issues that arise.
