Hi all! First time posting but need some advice. We want to get Rekordbox on all of our Macs, we're currently using Jamf School to distribute any software but it looks as though Rekordbox doesn't appreciate that so much and instead gives an .exe file to use to download it. With how tedious and long of a process it'd be to download it individually on every machine, is there any way using jamf to have this download on all devices instead of having to do it one by one? Thanks all!

Hello, I'm working as a researcher in a hospital, but I'm not handling any critical data. The hospital may be considered a target for hackers, while I do not believe that there is any reason to target me. Currently, my Apple computer is not subject to the hospital's MDM, and I wonder about the risk of data loss if it is included; in particular I fear that hackers may use the feature of the MDM to erase the data remotely. I'm looking for case reports, papers or news articles helping me to assess the risks of MDM, to compare these to the pros. I consider myself relatively well-educated in computer security, but I'm not a professional; yet I believe that I can set up things up correctly myself with the help of expert colleagues. Hoping for feedback, Colt

My org is in the process of preparing for Cyber Essentials and are looking to roll out conditional access policies to lock down BYOD access and ensure that any devices accessing our cloud data are compliant. The hurdle we've found as always is iPads. Co-managing windows devices and enrolling android devices in to Intune has been fine, however we use Jamf School for our iPads and are struggling to find any way that we can enroll them in to intune in order to assign a trusted device based conditional access policy for iOS devices. Without this we can't see any way that we can reliably monitor BYOD iOS devices and force enrollment for personal iPhones. Has anyone else come across this issue and found any sort of solution that doesn't require moving every iPad to Jamf Pro or Intune? We've already moved MDM once a few years ago and it isn't an exercise any of our team are excited at the idea of doing again any time soon.

Hello, I'm currently trying to utilize Mosyle MDM to deploy app management. For some reason when I try to restrict certain apps it either does all or none. Can anyone help with this issue? FOR EXAMPLE: if i block facetime but not calculator. ill push the policy and calculator will be blocked as well even though I didn't select that app. Therefore ill select apps and it applies it to them all still, even though I specified which apps to allow. Could it be a mosyle problem would switching MDM's help?
