I have 2017 27” mac , currently I have 2x8mb and 2x4mb ram cards installed.I have bought 2x16mb cards to replace the 4’s with so I have 48mb ram installed. Does it matter which cards go where in the slots ?

Sorry if this is in the wrong area. I have just created a new website for personal use at home . ISP is virgin media. The site is published and I can view it from any where in the world , except through my VM. Changed the dns to google and all is ok , wont work at all with VM’s dns. The website provider tells me the cache needs to clear on the VM superhub 3 , but it will just have to do its thing and clear in its own time. Is there any way to force a cache clear? Any help gratefully received. Thanks Rob.

My son has expressed a wish for a gaming pc for Christmas, I have spent more than I had intended on one for him (delivered today) and now he has just handed me and his Mum a list with the specifications of the pc he would like , this would be way more than I can afford, but can someone please advise would he be happy with what I have got him , or is he going to be dissapointed. What I have got him. I5-6400 , 2.7ghz. , 8gb ram , 1tb hdd , nvidia gtx950 . What he wants. I7-6700 , gtx1070,1tb hdd. Any help appreciated.

If it was a projector it had probably been left on since they broke up for Summer

No , i think it wont down load the win 10 update because it hasn't got all the Win8.1 updates so untill I solve this I don't think its going to work. Might have to default it .

This is on a similar vein to my previous post about a Dell laptop (mine) I fixed this by crashing back to factory settings (win8) then upgrading to Win 8.1 , it then gave me the option to download and install Win 10 , which is all fine now . The Toshiba is my Daughters , and she is reluctant to let me factory reset hers. Out of the two laptops in the house , both have had this problem , surely it can't just be me ?

Laptop is a Toshiba only 12 months old and got Win8.1 on it, I cant upgrade to Win 10 , because it won't apply updates . The laptop downloads and then says it is installing , but when it restarts , it says failure to apply updates and after about 3 more attempts it just goes back to how it was before. I have run the Microsoft update repair tool directly from Microsoft to no avail. Please help Guys, what little hair I have left is being pulled out here!

I have had issues with my Dell laptop not installing windows update (win8) for several months now , but I haven't been too bothered as I have been eagerly awaiting the deployment of Windows 10 . I have registered to get Win 10 as soon as it becomes available, but my question is this , does the new OS come in the form of a windows update ? because if it does my lap top won't play ball
