  1. OOps found it - cannot get it to work though. It maps a drive but seems the drive is hidden. Also there seems to be an issue with Trusted Sites. We've added them in to the GPO but they are still generating errors (with both scripts). Not sure what is happening. Gareth
  2. Cannot download the file any more. Doesn't exist. GJE
  3. Morning, Is anyone using the OneDriveMapper script from here: OneDriveMapper | Liebensraum I'm trying to get it working but am hitting an error everytime. I've followed the instructions but the error mentions Process 7800 - Google reveals nothing. I've uploaded a screenshot to show. ANy help or advice appreciated. Thanks Gareth
  4. Think I just weed. So excited for this. GJE
  5. I am looking into this at the moment - so thanks everyone. Timely post. GJE
  6. Ahhhhh - I wasn't aware so retract my comment. I read a lot about rugby but I've never read that. Apologies if it offended anyone. Gareth
  7. Hi @clairelangton - I'm in Wales. Where are you based? Send over a DM. Gareth
  8. Morning everyone - what a glorious day it is here in Wales. The sun is out, there is not a cloud in the sky - oh yes and Wales beat England - despite the ref being off his game, and despite England pushing in at the scrum and being off side most of the game. I think England had sussed Wales out at the start but at the end Wales sussed England out. Yes we changed our game plan and threw the ball wide. "Sam who?" Sam Burgess can go back to rugby league with that sort of arrogance. It may all be mind games - but that sort of arrogance is why all the other teams support everyone playing against England. Mike Brown should be ashamed of his interview on TV - petulant, stroppy schoolboy stuff from him. He was a bad advert for the England game (but a good player when he gets going). Farrell can stop doing that stupid hand signal when he scores a kick. The fact that they lost just makes him look stupid. I do feel sorry for England. Ahhh who am I kidding - I don't. If England had won the papers would be full of it. The BBC were a bit off point yesterday. 5 news stories and then in quick, silent voices - "Wales beat England". If England had won it would have been first on the news. but Oh no..... Still - in the spirit of rugby - England lost. Get over it. Move on. I'm sure there will be victories for England against Wales in the future - but for now.... we'll take it. Gareth
  9. No - not paying for AADPremium. I'll do each user individually I suppose :-( Gareth
  10. In good spirit - I hope everyone enjoys the weekend but.. COOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN WWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSS Let's hope for a good game between England and Wales and both teams demonstrating positive play and a good advert for rugby. Nahhh - only joking I hope Wales stuff 'em. ;-) Gareth (opening himself up to ridicule after the game) (@rich_tech told me to do this - honest Guv!!) ;-)
  11. Evening all, We are soon to be provided with SCCM by our LEA. I realise this comes with access to MDT but could someone point me in the direction where it explains the difference in the creation of a zero touch deployment and a lite touch deployment. How much different is it with regards to setting up? Any weblinks or pdf ebooks would be handy. I'm off to search Google but thought someone might have a quick reference to hand. Cheers all - have a nice weekend. Gareth
  12. Yip - all done. Just waiting for them to get back to me now. They are not the quickest. GJE
  13. Hi @LukeC - thanks for getting in touch. We currently have a Google Edu setup with users created via the Google DirSync software. Is moving it over to Azure going to overwrite what is already there or do you think I should delete them all first and start afresh? Gareth
  14. Wow - I've just been looking a this and just posted on Edugeek. I guess I should have searched first. I'm going to have to put 800 kids into a Pupil Group and then hopefully allocate the group to allow access. Gareth
  15. Evening all, In our quest for SSO and CSO we are looking at using Azure AD logins for our Google Apps service. Has anyone done this? It seems easy enough but I wondered if there are any pitfalls I should be aware of. Cheers Gareth
  16. Well that is strange. We recently updated our AADSync software and saw an issue similar to this. In fact our latest batch of new users cannot log in. Older users can. Something to look into. Gareth
  17. The user has created a OneDrive. As for the two accounts - that's interesting. Both myself and @rich_tech have two accounts on the same address with OneDrive. We have personal and business as well as VLSC accounts - mine with three different passwords. Is there anyway of linking them all together? Who would I contact at Microosft? Gareth
  18. Afternoon, Has anyone seen an issue where a user logs into their Office 365 portal through https://login.microsoftonline.com - starts up Word and tries to create a new document but is then told they cannot create a new document and is given the option of 'Try again later' or 'Go to OneDrive for Business. If they choose the latter then they are taken into OD for B and can create a word document from File>New - which as expected, creates and saves a document. But why can we not do this by firing up the Word app from the portal? Thanks Gareth
  19. After reading about Google above I should have added to my post that we sync our AD with Azure using AADSync from Microsoft. This synchronises our AD with Azure, adds/removes users as they appear and keeps passwords synced (one way). Works really well but our email is still held by the LEA. Gareth
  20. Evening all, I know there is a beta Office365 console out there but has anyone noticed something weird with their Office 365 Admin Console? Several new things have turned up on mine and I have no idea why. There are no news items to say they would be there. I'm slightly confused as to why they have appeared. Exchange service status and Admin centres has turned up - we do not use Exchange online. The LEA host our mail server. We've not changed any settings. The Sync is still working. SSO is turned off (and has been for months). Any advice welcomed. Gareth
  21. Still nervous about installing it. We're not even considering 10 until at least next year. Windows 7 does everything we need on the hardware we have so I see it becoming our 'new XP' :-) Gareth
  22. I was thinking something similar the other day - but from a different angle. We used to have EES with Microsoft for Windows and Office but this year the LEA have purchased it county wide. I was wondering how this affects our free Office for staff and student scheme? Were Microsoft giving it away anyway to faculty and staff regardless or license? We use https://login.microsoftonline.com - but are happy for our pupils to use Office 365 and/or Office Pro which they can download for Mac or PC. One question is that if we do not have a license vendor who do we contact to add more free licenses? Cheers Gareth
  23. Hi All, My wife and I currently use OneDrive (personal) for storing our photos from our phones. They upload automatically and everything is junky dory. Or it was - we've run out of space. So we are now looking at purchasing Office 365 for the house. I know I can get it from my school - but I don't really want it linked to my work so am going to pay the £7.99 per month. Can anyone tell me how this will all work? I assume it will be registered to the current OneDrive email address (the one we use to log in) - but what about her individual OneDrive 1Tb of space? Will we need to register separate email addresses to access our individual 1Tb spaces? Hopefully I'm asking this right :-) Gareth
  24. I'm not suprised. The MDT Update also came through full of issues. GJE
  25. Just posted in the Windows 10 forum as well - there are apparently some issues if installing in certain scenarios. Have a read here for information and workarounds: Deployment Research > Research Gareth
