I still don't get a dialogue box on save :-( Asks if I want to save work on exit but then nothing, can't find the work, boooooooo

when I click the save button no dialogue box appears. We have our exam laptops as stand alone so need to be able to know the save location and restore it on a different machine after the exam to print

Windows 10, had to make the examwritepad folder in AppData. May just make a batch file that says if x doesn't exist MD x and then run. Does look good though.

Well now this is where it gets interesting, the last time I checked, if your school was previously a "Grant Maintained" school and used SIMS (very likely) and you transferred over to the bulk LA license there was a clause somewhere stating that your license can be transferred back to Capita. While this is good news for Secondary Schools that was previously "Grant Maintained" this is not good for Primary Schools and other institutions that were never such a body. Now this was back when the Coalition got into power and first made academies so Capita may have somehow closed the loophole by now. It would be interesting to see what happens with all the PFI contracts as well, since those contracts are between the LEA/LA and the Contractors and not the Foundation schools, so basically the LEA is the one loosing even more money.

Glad it's not just me that thinks the Llyods Link online is scary, we even have to run the BACs from FMS through some converter first. But until about 4 years ago we was still having to use a win 2k PC with them and a Modem with a PIN machine between the PC and the Phone Socket. I am afraid the classes are directly linked to the course link on the marksheet, so you can only really have one for each subject. There is nothing stopping you making applying the course link to the year group but you will have to have a marksheet for each course, booooo

Well they could be fun, there has already been a Kent court case with a PFI school going academy status where Kent still had to pay the shortfall of the contract as the contract was with KCC. If all schools are to be direct funded there will be a lot former LAs really badly off as they are likely to still have years to pay off these contracts. That is just one implication that springs to mind which is going to have a negative impact all around. While I do not have a problem with Grammar Schools (in principle) but you cannot treat schools in areas where a traditional entry based 11+ exam taken the same as schools where this does not exist. Also the irony here is I am in a weird place where if I move slightly closer to London (between my home town and the m25) the prices go down as we have HS1 at our station.

The only thing is cost on that one. It's not the easiest to break down. But it's something like £16 per TB per month isn't it?

Use Microsoft DPM with 2 servers onsite in complete different locations on site. Also looking at the Azure storage now it has dropped in price as the offsite solution as it just integrates with it

I would not use school equipment to do such a thing, although it is an idea

We have gone for Command and Conquer 3 (both the Tiberium on and Red Alert 3) matches between our school technicians and the local girls school technicians :-) It is getting quite competitive now, as I have to admit I have never played a Command and Conquer game before and I am addicted (and winning)

We use ticketsource works the card fee into the price. Goes direct into the bank account and no charge to use it. Scan people in when they arrive and free events cost you nothing.

Our LEA has been offering this for about 5 years.

Disabled for domain but force enables on public and private connections.

Thank you @sonofsanta it is working now, slow process though :-) I take it for emails to this person I need to replace from with a to in the search parameters (I really need to learn how to use powershell)

OK it seems I cannot do it through any tracking log due to time restrictions, I need to actually search mailboxes for a specific email address
