@Joanne Netflix gives you content based on Geographical location by DNS and other methods. You can get far greater content by using these services (which are not strictly adherent to the Netflix T&Cs) by using a VPN service to open say US netflix, where the licensing they have to show programmes is different and therefore have a greater content. Although Once Upon A Time has more on the UK service and is awesome, 1 word sums it up Hook :-)

@Joanne I am playing Witcher 3 but am currently wandering around aimlessly as it's telling me to either find more about Ciri or More about the Barons wife in Valen, no quest markers, just travelling around attacking things and doing random side quests at the mo as it isn't helping me :-(

yes it is, so I had to set the scope options in each client DCHP scope

We had this, Had to set option 066 in scope options to your WDS server 10.239.32.10 and then set option 067 to something like boot\x64\wdsnbp.com This made the WDS server worked. I found if I didn't put in option 67 as well it would not work.

Moved away from All VPN for staff and setup a Remote Desktop Service Server with a Gateway, staff have an Explorer Shortcut (tabled School folders), SIMS, FMS, 4Matrix and Office Shortcuts in their start menu that they can run at home (Office is there purely for SIMS reports and opening files on the Shared Drives). They click the shortcut, put in their username and password for the session and it just works for them. Costs us about £400 a year in licensing but I found it the most reliable way for staff to access SIMS etc at home. They can also use the web interface on their Home PCs and connect, nice and securely

I can offer help on the Friday and Saturday, but cannot get the time off on Wednesday or Thursday, I won't need a hotel, as I can get there pretty easily and quickly thanks to the new fangled High Speed 1 service. Let me know if you want some help then.

Always buy with accidental damage cover, yes its like an extra £60 a laptop but OMG does it save you loads of money (and time) in the long run

OK, we are a secondary school here so the scenario may be slightly different. We have just under 1000 students about about 120 staff (who use ICT devices) Have a grand total of 23 staff PCs and 30 Student PCs All the rest are wireless laptops. Years 09 10 and 11 have a device assigned to them by the school, to which they are responsible for and have to keep it in the laptop locker (opened by RFID cards) assigned to them. Years 7 and 8 and shared laptops at a 1:1.3 ratio (yes so close to 1:1 but not there and no intention of going there) Sixth form get the cast offs of what is left, and are promoted to bring in their own devices. Couple of things which make a hell of a difference for laptops. As well as having a decent wireless network, make sure you get AN or AC wireless cards in them, you want the A band (5ghz) as they receive a lot less interference and give you a better connection speed. When I swapped a bunch of laptop to AC cards (cheaper than AN cards and we only have a ABGN network not AC) the improvement was astonishing. Also staffing numbers, it is Me (the network Manager) and 2 apprentices, that I am training. So we keep on top of it

@VeryPC_Colin_M got us the most awesome and totally bodayshous (yes I have recently been watching Bill and Ted) looking laptops which our year 9s use, you cannot ask for better. I do believe the ones we just got support MSATA SSDs and a Standard HDD, so you can give her the space on a traditional HDD but the speed of an SSD on two drives. We have these machines with the same image as our others and they boot from cold boot to CTRL+ALT+DEL in under 25 seconds, and that is with GPOs being pulled down OVER WIRELESS!!!!!!!!!!!

I would pay for your local support unit to do it, would make life a lot easier and they will have much more experience of it and you have them as a safety net.

@Grey-gear I had to watch it twice because of that. Those numbers are not the total Percentage of children in the study but actually the percentage of the people who said they play and don't play games regularly. Crazy statistics

but what about the 81% of children heavily using Social Media to play games? a very dubious link to me.

That is highly annoying @witch When doing windows 10, use this Installing Windows 10 using the media creation tool - Windows Help You can then make a USB and do a clean install.

That's what I feel is weird, as you have the same model and chipsets (unless there is some BIOS discrepancies or something) The only reason I suggest windows 10, is that it is a Microsoft sys file, which may have been modified in 10, so it may not happen (clutching at straws too here)

So i take it there is no correlation between network hardware and BSOD? Stuff it, Windows 10

Something must be editing that sys file, My only guess would be some kind of network driver now. May be worth googling that Network Card with BSOD? Is it using some weird and wonderful wireless card?

I would try to install it from a standard windows disk, as there may be something hiding in the Fujitsu disk
