Good morning, We are looking at getting 120 Chromebooks for our Year 5 and 6 students to fully utilise GAFE to support their learning. We are based in the Middle East so there is not many Chromebooks to be found around so apart from the previous posts all of my research is web based. Are there any that I should stick clear of? Good morning, We have just set up the school for SIMS Teachers App. When accessing the users in the App Administration webpages all the staff new to school this academic year are not present. I have checked all the required fields and there seems to be nothing missing. Any ideas? Thanks Hamish

Forgot to mention I am in the Middle East. We had booked Capita to come out to do this for us(and a few other things) but when they came our new school building was not completed and no server was available.

Hello, We have been lucky enough to get a new server setup and we have a new domain as well. We are needing to migrate SIMS and Solous from the old server to the new server and domain. I have got all the documentation (from another thread) that's required and have set up SQL 2012 on the new server (HyperV). Do I transfer SIMS to the other server 1st or migrate Solus? Any help will be appreciated Thanks

Good morning, I am trying to find some suitable( light weight, semi robust) HP laptops for our international primary school. We are part of a large company hence why we have to order HP devices. So far the company IT department has suggested the HP Folio 13" which looks fantastic but due to its cost will restrict the number of units purchased. Any suggestions would be welcomed! or sharing what you currently use and the pros and cons. Thanks Scoggs

Hello there everyone! My name is Hamish and I am in Muscat, Oman. I am a teacher in charge of developing IT in a primary school, and every day my role gets bigger and bigger. I have experience in OSX servers but now I am part of the team setting up a Windows server (1st time). So I have been looking at all the great advice on Group Policies in the forums etc. Does this mean I am becoming a geek? Hamish
