Awesome, I just asked as I switched it on this morning due to the New Google classroom adding teacher feature needed it to list them in contacts and it wasn't opening any. I will let you know if mine works tomorrow

@CAM I am just trying to run the report now, but I have stuffed up my machine with office 2013 and it constantly trying to open it up in 2010. I don't think there is a way of customising it. You may have to make the report in the reporting engine

You can make SIMS export a name on each row by unpicking the suppliers duplicates on the report output screen (I think it is just under where you name the report), this will make it that if you have all their grades lists in one of the columns it will make sure it doesn't make the data beforehand blank. Hopefully this will help you

I use GPO and just make sure it is enabled for staff using laptops https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc759721(v=ws.10).aspx Pretty much just use the default windows settings, as it seems to synchronise the home drive by default

We have it running here, have done since the days of XP. Most of the time it works fine, just make sure that your shared resources drive is not on the same server as their home drive, as it tries to synchronise that sometimes, which can be a pain. Personally, not many issues here, sometimes they end up working "offline" when their wireless switches from one WAP to another, but they just click the work online button on the shared folder and it works again

I don't think you need a whole new database, but a little tip that could save you a lot of money if you have to change licenses is if you was ever a Grant Maintained school, you would have owned your SIMS license and then transferred it to the LEA if it was asked afterwards. If you did this then you only have to pay the "administrational" transfer fee for it to go back to Capita and start paying capita (or another support unit) for the support and licensing :-)

I cannot express how excited I am to go home tonight and open up steam to play WFTO, I paid for the Beta a couple of weeks ago and been loving it.
