Cheers for the response - I have just heard back from Techsoft and it seems that I have to uninstall the current version and then install the standalone version. I was just hoping to change the activation key.

Hi We have a site licence for Techsoft Design V3 and we are also allowed 4 stand alone PC's. Our technology teacher wants to be able to check students work when she is at home, but when she starts Techsoft, it is looking for the licence server which is obviously in school. I have the activation code for the stand alone version - do I have to uninstall Techsoft and then reinstall with the stand alone activation key or is there a way of transferring the key without uninstall / re-install? Hi How do I configure a laptop or Smoothwall so that when a student takes a laptop home it is still being protected by Smoothwall? The student will be logging on to the laptop using a local account. Cheers

Hi, Our students are on a carousel in Art, Tech, Performing Arts. One issue that we are getting with Teams/O365 is the KS3 classes which are on the carousel is pulling in all their memberships so if they have done two rotations then those students are appearing in both rotations, is there anyway of just picking up the current rotation? We are ending up with Teams that have over sixty students in because "last weeks students" haven't been removed when the moved to their new class. Does that make sense? Can anybody explain how I can make the classes in SIMS replicate exactly to O365? Thanks

Hi, I have added our Heads of Year as a member in every class in their respective year, so that they can dip in and out any remote lessons and check up on the students. They are now moaning about receiving massive numbers of e mail alerts for lessons being set up in their year as well as the lesson chats. Is there a way to limit what emails/notifications a particular user gets from Teams? Thanks

Hi Is there an easy way to remove Windows 10 apps for ALL users? One of our teachers is constantly moaning about kids being on Solitaire etc. I have tried the following Powershell commands: Get-AppxPackage *solitairecollection* | Remove-AppxPackage Get-AppxPackage -allusers *Microsoft.MicrosoftSolitaireCollection_4.4.6132.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe*| Remove-AppxPackage I have also tried Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage which I think should remove all Windows apps? It seems to delete for me when logged on as admin, but when I log back in with student test accounts it's back. We are running Windows 10 Pro build 1903 Cheers

Thanks for the quick response. I think the attendance lady already does that. I was hoping for some kind of automatic alarm that beeps/flashes 10 minutes after the start of each lesson if the register hasn't been taken.

Hi Is it possible to set some kind of reminder for staff to ensure that they need to do their register? Staff are supposed to have done their registers within the first ten minutes of a lesson, but don't always. New deputy head is handing out roastings to staff who don't comply I was thinking of a message popup or an audible alarm that goes off ten minutes after the start of each lesson for those classes that haven't submitted completed registers? Hi, I am trying to set up our room booking app for the new school year and I need to tick all of the "week commencing" buttons for each of the "Week 1" and "Week 2" parts of the setup for the whole year. Is there a way in SIMS to be able to see the dates all of the Week 1's and Week 2's for the whole academic year? I am not sure when it comes to holidays that if we finish on Week 1 - have a week off, do we come back to Week 1 or 2? There are no admin staff in school at the moment so I can't ask them. I hope that makes some kind of sense. Thank you.
