About Di27

  1. Still interested if anyone finds anything more - don't get them often but had another one just the other day who was sure she had entered the data last week....
  2. Thanks - yes that's it. I think its as you say, too much for it - was hoping for a miracle answer !! I have since tried two things to present the report - one is to export the marksheet to a pre-prepared spreadsheet as you say - the analysis still works and it is quick. I have also done a sims extract with one long list of all the aspects - this seems to work and I have been able to produce the report. Will see which is preferred!Thank you for replying - much appreciated
  3. HiI am trying to create a spreadsheet to analyse results for list of aspects for all pupils. When I run a couple of the aspects, it works perfectly, however when I add more it just hangs. If I split the report I have I need at least 17 aspects, if I don't split my report I need up to 50. Is there anyway to get this to work ? Appreciate any commentsThanks!
  4. Profile Comment Banks When an area is split into sections, can comments from each section be joined or are they independent and new paragraphs eg Area - Section Homework -Section Assessment I want to select one comment from Homework which will be the opening sentence (New Line Comment Type), and then a comment from Assessment which needs to join onto the Homework comment (Join Comment Type). Does the comment type of Join work when set up in a separate section to the New line comment type or only when all is within one section? I am unable to test this out at the moment so would appreciate any help. Thanks
  5. We have had the same issue - never frequently enough to take it any further though. Recently two sets of science marks were affected. I am also concerned that a template can be opened by more than one person at the same time. We only update the aspect in one place but if more than one person can access the template, not sure how this affects updates ( I haven't the time to check !). I have raised this issue but don't think its gone anywhere. Hopefully someone will have an answer about the disappearing data soon!
  6. Sounds stupid now I see how easy it is!! Thanks for replying so quickly
  7. At the end of each section, I put the close/Open commands as I thought this was the page throw ie<><> On our other pupil reports, there are standard sized tables for data/comments and these have been sized to force the page throw. The reports I am creating have tables also but will vary in some content. Once I know the content for each subject, I could follow the same pattern and maybe set up hidden table rows to make up the page size (if you get what I mean). But I would rather not have to do that. Hope this makes sense! Thanks
  8. Setting up reports using SIMS profiles where I want to have one or more pages to print for each pupil . I can get the content to work but not the page break. Any suggestions? Thanks
  9. I am new to Edugeek so here goes my first attempt! SIMS Assessment: I am creating a template to be used by two different courses. The HOD needs an overall view for pupils in both courses. Is there a way of providing this with class details included? If I just put the year group with no course link, the class details are not displayed in the marksheet.
