Is it even possible? The Head of IT and myself have both created a couple of bits for a Moodle INSET; we have put them in different courses! Does anyone know of an easy way to merge the two courses into one? Thanks, Andy

The very latest Flash player needs to be installed - perhaps this could be the problem - although I think it does say so if this is the case, so perhaps not. We have had several kids and teachers playing against "the computer". Also, which seems odd to me, the computer players are a bit rubbish! Andy

AFAIK, Nova is part of SIMS for timetabling as you say. Timetables can be printed off for a student from their entry in SIMS .net. NOVA is still necessary for creating the timetables in the first place each year, and also possibly for altering things such as which classes a teacher teaches, but don't quote me on that Andy

Full control on the SIMS (and PARS if they're separate - new installs aren't) folders does it. Does it for us anyway Andy

I was upgraded to the 2MBps, many moons ago, when it was Telewest - I didn't do anything, they just sent me an email telling me they were going to do it - and they did Also, 50MBps by the end of 2008 Andy

Orange Hammer - I did all the sums telling myself I wasn't go to conform and think of a carrot, and decided I was gonna say parsnip! Then of course realised the question had changed since I heard this many moons ago. Decided resistance was futile and went for orange! Hammer was genuine - I am sure I would probably have said red if I had done it properly! Andy -

I would say most of our installs have been excellent - again contractors. The only ones I was a little dissapointed with were the ones we had later, which apppeared to be Promethean employees. Andy

Ooh! Not breaking your CLEO T&Cs I hope Andy

Sorry pete, thought I'd already responded here! No - it didn't, but it was only after trying this that I realised I hadn't reapplied the template for the particular member of staff. It is fine now. Andy

Can we assume that it is an older version of Ghost? We use Ghost here, albeit the latest Enterprise version, which we actually use to create the bootable USB sticks with in the first place! Andy

Also, how about the networkable photocopiers. We have a Tosh EStudio something or another which does printing from the network and scanning. We have a rental agreement on ours which includes toner - maybe something worth looking at? Andy

Have you been on the FREE Admin training courses at Woodlands? It is worth going, if just for the lunch Andy
