They can also be used to read car faults, clear faults and lots of other things. I'm mainly just using mine for logging stuff and viewing information I don't get on my dash.

It's just something custom at the minute, have you tried the torque web interface (I haven't, it may be better than what I've come up with for all I know!). The torque logging system is pretty stupid at the minute anyway, everytime it polls the sensors it sends http request which means that it sends thousands of http requests. It's not very elegant to say the least, but if I get something better working i'll release it

I bought a bluetooth adapter the other day inspired by this thread, works brilliantly with torque, I bought this one V1.4 OBD2 OBDII CAN-BUS Diagnostic Scanner Bluetooth: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics I also decided to write my own web interface for storing the logged data from torque (torque already has that feature but I prefer to store the data myself) and it works quite nicely.

I'm doubtful that steam has anything built into the application to do this, but one thing you could do is block the url: http://store.steampowered.com/agecheck/* (the * is a wildcard if you didn't guess) That would stop the age cookie being set and prevent them from getting on the pages of games that are over 18 which then means they can't buy them I think.

Just put a list of ad servers into the host file? Which you can find =&startdate[month]=&startdate[year]="]here. You'll have to grab it via adb and then remount the filesystem rw to modify it though then push it back.
