  6. I think Alumni refers to the people who have attended the school/college/uni, where Alma Mater refers to the institution itself. So, I guess, you are an Alumnus of your Alma Mater! Andy

  13. Ah, the luxury - mine was the 166! I didn't learn though, when I "upgraded", I bought the MII 300! I soon took it back and swapped it for the AMD though. Imagine, I had one motherboard and was able to put any of the three major brands' chips in it! Andy

  16. Interesting... looks good. Seems they are now offering a free CCNA lab with each course. Not mention they offer the CCNA library as part of the course, which I have previously bought for approx. £50 Are you going to be training in Manchester or London? Andy
  17. When I was at high school, we did a little BASIC programming on the BBCs. We created programs to control traffic lights that we had previously made in CDT. Great times. Andy

  21. I remember those, I was very confused at the time! Why would you want to speed your computer up - surely you would want it set at its higher speed permanently! I later learned that the point was actually to slow the computer down - compatibility and all that.
