If you're talking about standard low-power two-way radios (like PMR 446) without a repeater, they're unlikely to be heard by eavesdroppers 5 miles away, let alone 10 miles. I'm more inclined to agree with Rob_D in that the measures need to be appropriate to the risk. Methods used to lower the risk are to advise staff not to transmit personal info over the radios, and to use some form of encryption (some is better than none at all).

From my own experience running a Teltonika mobile router in a campervan, it's possible to do it using a small 12v LifePO4 battery that is charged from a solar panel. The router itself is very low power (as a rough guide, mine is about 2W idle and 6.5W (0.5A) max). So with a decent battery, that is a huge runtime already even before you add solar charging. I got mine from Solwise and they do all sorts of devices / accessories you might need.

For transactional emails, I use a UK-based provider called MailPace and find it works really well. Can be paid yearly and in GBP. It works much like SendGrid or Mandrill, but isn't designed for mailing lists or newsletters (or other bulk messages).

That's really interesting! It does sound similar to some of our core customers - we have a handful of different systems which are used by charitable, non-profit and social prescribing organisations through to Local Authorities and NHS. We've had a Eufy RoboVac X8 since November last year (Black Friday deal!) and it's been great. My partner was very sceptical of them before buying, but fully converted to the robo way now. It supports multiple floor maps, you can set no-go areas, and it's sensible enough not to throw itself down the stairs. When you set up the first map though, make sure there are no floor-level mirrors - otherwise it gets a bit confused and thinks there's a doorway into another realm. You can get self-emptying ones as well - if they're within your budget, I'd recommend it - but no hardship if not. It picks up long human hair fine, but it does get wrapped on the rollers. It comes with a handy tool to cut it off them and that helps remove it all very easily. It manages hard floors with rugs fine, and going across various thresholds and surfaces. The only thing it couldn't do was a 2cm and very steep change in level form hallway to kitchen, so I've just changed the threshold there to a longer ramp-style one which it now manages perfectly fine with.

One way to do this might be to export the Word document to a PDF first, and then print the PDF as a booklet using Adobe Reader. I think it has a better print dialog that gives you more control over this.

Ah, I see, understood Booking approval functionality is also on the roadmap, but that one is a bit further away.

Hi ReddDwarfer, classroombookings author here! Unfortunately a read-only view isn't possible at the moment, but it is on the roadmap for future development. However, if you want to completely remove the ability to see and book rooms from certain users, whilst still allowing others, you can do it a couple of ways. 1) As you're using LDAP, you could change the filter to only allow users who match the criteria of the users you want to be able to book rooms. Anyone else would not be able to log in. 2) You could add your 'approved' users to one or more Departments, and then use the Room Access Control functionality to restrict specific rooms to just those departments. Make sure you remove the default access for 'Any logged-in user'. Sorry it's not exactly what you wanted, but hope that helps! Craig.

I have a couple of Ryobi drills (one was a kit similar to the one linked in the first post) and have been very happy with them. My use case is just general DIY stuff around the home and they've coped brilliantly. The SDS+ hammer drill (with Ryobi bits) goes into old Victorian brickwork with ease.
