Just got back to my office and found a box of Praline seashells on my desk. Grateful thanks from a 1 on 1 teacher who was stuck in a storeroom with no heating and I loaned her my fan heater. I've eaten three already.

Nothing here either, but maybe because this past month I've been laying into teachers a bit more for their incompetence.

I don't care. I'd rather they use the equipment correctly or at least respect it than have a card on my desk.

I've had none...don't break up till Friday tho so here's hoping :S. I did get a snickers today from one of the TA's, but this was less a present and more of my winnings from a bet. She claimed she couldn't log on, I said if I come all the way down and you can log on then you owe me some chocolate...she owed me some chocolate. Maybe I can pretend its some kind of festive snickers, paint the wrapper red or something.

Last year I got one card which was from a student.

I misread that at first as knickers...

gift from a supplier - err non.

I used to work for a company where every order had harribo in it and a cuddly toy, mind you sales women sounded hot, but was probably the total opposite.

Most of our staff have been doing donations instead of cards.

Although we have been given three lots of biscuits/chocs. I plan on going out with a load of people who tend to buy me a drink firday so I think I dont pretty well ;)

I got one from a PE teacher and I've got a share in a box of chocolate fingers. Contemplating tying up the boss and taking his half too; can't eat fingers when you're all kidnapped. Just thinking out loud there...

You're drinking at work ? Or did you fake this, using 'something...errr...else' as beer...?

We did get a card from a cleaner called Samantha. I've no idea who she is.

Yep - school had broken up at 12:15pm, I opened my fist tin at 12:15pm and 27 seconds. [ Took me 20 seconds to find a glass ]

Merry Christmas to ye all fellow Edugeeks :D

Spa voucher from Governors in one school.

Sweeite gift from Head and a few cards from the other staff - most know not to bother as they know I hate Birthdays and Christmas. The latter being a commercial humbug, almost divorced completely from the religious occasion it started out as

Just a verbal thank you from a few of the kids (and or their parents) who attend the ICT Clubs I run though would be warmly welcomed!!
