Can anyone recommend an IT supplier of general bits and pieces - hard drives, projectors, switches etc. Like us all I get a lot of phone calls from people who are 'the biggest supplier of IT in your area' or 'work with many of the schools in your area'...etc but can anyone recommend a proven supplier with prices on their website, decent response, service etc

Thanks

Danny at AMC Computers (Based in Kettering) - great service and great prices! We order everything from compatible toners to computer suited from him - not forgetting random laptop and printer parts to repair our hardware too.

We find eBuyer are always cheaper than anywhere else. We have given other people a chance to quote such as Softcat, PCS Systems and others. They never come close for the little things, eBuyer are always cheapest and it wastes 3hrs of both our time waiting for them to quote and be more expensive anyway.

However if you're looking for refurb kit @ICTDirect_Dave or Encore/Stone (Whatever they are called now) are solid for refurbished kit.

Been buying a lot from European Electronique just recently, getting to have a good relationship with them. Usually quite keen on pricing and quick to deliver

+1 for this.

I buy all my networking hardware from Switchshop They really do know what they're talking about and their prices fall below the box shifters too.

They've always helped when I've needed it, even if it's a favour. They even gave me an Amazon Echo Dot at BETT last year!!

My account manager is Nick Cox. Give him a call.

CBC Computers Sheffield.

These have some very good pricing, ask for Ben Mitchell.

They do everything you can think of IT and Non-IT related.

Ahh good old Ben! Definitely a +1 for him.

anyone ever used Ballicomm

Used them for a while but then the delivery charges started going up and they became less co-operative - i.e. they wanted exact details of part number etc and would not help with a request like "HDMI to DVI cable" - so I gave up on them
