Hi If you’ve dedicated an interface on your Smoothwall for this task then it should be “untagged” on your network switch port. I presume you’ve configured the BYOD SSID network to use the same VLAN and that your WAPs switch ports are configured as “tagged” so it can pass both VLANs Try that and see how you get on. Hi At least 2 of my teachers have reported that their ActivPanel's keep unfreezing randomly, without any button presses on the remote or front panel. I've seen this happen myself on one of the panels. One of the panels is a AP4-75 and the other a AP7-65-02. Has anybody else experienced this and do you have a solution? Thanks Tom

I’m trying to find out why our failover cluster is so damn slow. I wonder if you would mind telling me what your cluster shared volume block size is and what your experience is like using your VMs? We have 2 x DL380 Gen9 (20 threads, 128GB, 300GB 10K etc), MSA2040 (12Gb SAS connectivity to the hosts), 12 x 1.2TB 10K SAS disks (RAID5) and it's appallingly slow. Hi guys Due to the unprecedented rise in cyber attacks on the education sector I’ve decided to close off access to the Smoothwall VPN as I am unsure how secure it is. I've also closed the firewall rule (see below) The only entry point I'm aware of now is the rule that allows Smoothwall HQ to administer the box. What are others thoughts on the built-in VPN. Should it be left off, or are we happy there are few or no vulnerabilities to worry about? I'm referring to the OpenVPN client that tunnels in from an off-site laptop or desktop. Thanks Tom
