Where does everyone buy their toner from these days?

Since moving to a managed print contract and replacing the majority of our printers with MFD's I don't need to buy toner very often, but a few items are now required for some Brother printers which we kept.

I would normally use ebuyer but a quick google of a few other sites show them to not be that competitive....Cheap Printer Ink Cartridges, Laser Toner & Inkjet Printer Cartridges for one beats them.

I'm reluctant to just use a site without any recommendations though, so can anyone advise me of any companies they use and recommend?

I use UK Laser Supplies - we went through about a month of 10+ companies telling us they're the most competitive with their toner... got fed up so I emailed them a list of what we use and told them to give me their best price. UKLS came up trumps by quite a whack.

I don't buy any, it arrives magically from the people who we lease our copiers off.

Do you want today's award for the most pointless post? :p

We use Greensource who are based in Bristol. Our account manager is Kirs, he does a great job. greensource.co.uk

We buy their re-man toner as its a lot cheaper. Been with them for around 8 years and never had an issue, had loads of other company's ring up and ask for quotes, but no-one can get near them.

They sell all the stuff we need: Toner, Collection units, Fuse units, maintenance kits. Not only that, they pick up all the empty units for FREE!

Goods are also delivered next day

Softcat, IDNS or whichever sales rep calls when we need toner and I can beat into being cheaper than our regualrs. I find that prices drop slightly if you haven't used a supplier for a while. Although at the moment softcat seem to have a monopoly on cheap (Misco rep said their quote was below his cost price, and one guy (can't remember who from) tried to convince me I was being ripped off as there was no way they could sell HP originals at that price.)

OfficeLines, IDNS, Softcat, Choice Stationary, Ebuyer. All have supplied us for toners/inks over the last year or so.

Pricing seems to bounce around a fair amount.

We use IDNS, Choice Stationery, IJT Direct/Making IT Green, Toner Giant and cartridgesave and apart from the odd dud cartridge which has been replaced with no arguements, all of them offer a pretty standard service. IDNS tend to get most of the orders, as they also give us a big box to send back any used cartridges, drums etc to them from any supplier, and IJT/Making IT Green (same company, or at least the sales reps work for both of them) are used for when we want a freebie. Just to warn you though, IJT do seem to spam you call wise, to get more sales, no matter how many times you ask them not to.

Used Vitesse at previous place. Not very competitive pricing but orders would always arrive next day and good quality remanufactured toners.

Use IDNS at current place. Fairly good quality and guess they're the cheapest (as bursar chose them herself).

Have had sales calls from printerinks.co.uk over the years and have always wanted to give them a try as their website is decent & they're well priced. Anyone had experience of them?
