DCUK6 Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Not another gross thread please but we are just talking about how long you spend in the loo. I tend to get a YouTube playlist ready before going in and tend to be about 15-20 minutes and found out my nephew does the same. After that time you loose all feeling in your legs so have to get up. Others say we are weird and spend only a few minutes in there. Is it a age thing? What's normal? Asking the Internet to give feedback. Our family has weird conversations and debates.
comrade Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Do you mean to go to the toilet to to wash? When I go to the toilet, short and quick, a few minutes, five at most. Might take longer if I want to get away from someone visiting. When going for a wash, about twenty minutes. Mid-20's
DCUK6 Posted July 15, 2015 Author Posted July 15, 2015 (edited) As in, what do you do when you go for a number two. Turns out all men have weighed themselves before and after though. Woman don't understand why you would. Funny what men do that women don't understand why, play football with socks, race the toilet. It's never taught but we seem to play the same silly games. Ephelyon Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 .... nope, never weighed myself. Generally assumed that whatever goes in comes out, minus the useful parts...
garethEds Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Before kids - I went for a Number 2 for a read. Now I go for some peace. As for a shower - anything between 5 and 15 minutes depending on how long my training run has been. Cold water, hot water etc etc. Then shave. If I am going out then the three S' can be done in about 15 mins. S**t, shower and a shave.... Then dressed. Gareth
DCUK6 Posted July 15, 2015 Author Posted July 15, 2015 .... nope, never weighed myself. Generally assumed that whatever goes in comes out, minus the useful parts... You must be wondering now though what the results would be.
Ephelyon Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 My only "result" from that line of thought is that a pair of scales can go screw themselves! 1
sparkeh Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Before kids - I went for a Number 2 for a read. Now I go for some peace. Amen brother! Thank heaven for the porcelain sanctuary. 1
Davit2005 Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 No Wife, no kids, in and out in five mins or under.
witch Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Generally speaking - it's a gender thing When men go to do something ermm, serious, they seem to take around 15 to 20 mins - my husband, and both sons are the same. My daughter and I just go in, do what needs doing and leave - usually around 5 minutes? In discussion with my friends, the same pattern emerges..... Luckily for me - mrwITch is well trained, and uses the downstairs toilet, last thing at night
Sagima Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 No wife/kids. Usually less than 5 minutes. On occasion up to 10 minutes.
abillybob Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 I can be in and out when having a number two in less than 5 minutes, comes out of me like a bullet especially when I've had a coffee!!! To get showered and ready I normally take about 40 minutes. The girlfriend around 1hr 20m ( I seriously don't know what she does in there for that length of time)
Ephelyon Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Same here, about 40 minutes in the morning. Varies for a number two throughout the day as I have a succession of well-thumbed "bathroom books"...
hardtailstar Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 in mornings before work a wash takes about 10 minutes. having a bath usually takes about 20 minutes, number two about the same.
bladedanny Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 (edited) Far too long acording to my wife. I always talk my phone or iPad in with me can't go without it. edit: I'll add the actual business doesn't take that long < 5 minutes. I just end up sitting there watching youtube or reading reddit. MkII Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 From bed in the morning.... I can get out of the house in 5 minutes. No.2 can naturally take 15 minutes, and you can't rush it! Yeah 5 minutes well greased/ with a supositry
LeMarchand Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Varies according to what else is happening, but we have the latest issues of SFX and Empire in the "main" loo to provide reading material whilst a big job is undertaken - so it often depends on how interesting the article being read is.
sparkeh Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Oh and of course if you are at work its a different matter, kick back, relax, you're getting paid for it
dhicks Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 No.2 can naturally take 15 minutes, and you can't rush it! I read this thread last night, so I was handily able to time myself this morning. 15 minutes, which seems to be bang on the (male) average. Recently, I've found I do all my best thinking on the toilet - it might simply be because it's the place with the least distractions, you can just sit and think. 1
LiamHaith Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Okay, I'm a speedy one. Typically, going for the Three S' takes me under 10 minutes total. Shaving is a quick job (due to the fact that I'm unable to grow manly facial hair ), Showering is about 5-10 minutes, and as for dropping the browns off at the superbowl, under 2 minutes. I trained myself to spend as little time as possible in the bathroom. If I'm in there for more than 2 minutes, I'm calling a doctor because I think something is wrong.
kennysarmy Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Shave - well beard trim = 5 minutes bathroom time. Shower - 10 minutes max bathroom time. S**t - 5 minutes - time to get the phone out and check the weather, news, facebook etc
Joanne Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 yeah I'm 5 minutes or under unless I've stumbled onto memebase and then it can be longer... I'm pretty efficient when it comes to that if needed! Less than 2 minutes at work... never want to be caught in a mexican standoff!!
Garacesh Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 never want to be caught in a mexican standoff!! Sitoff
abillybob Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Anyone here a shy poo-er? (Someone who can't go around other or can't go in a public place)
